Did a test on Enchant Sword on Don Yeti (1H+MD. Might differ on 2H)

It deals more damage than Buster Sword now

Enchant did 180k damage (Enchant buff included)
Buster did 40k/hit without Enchant buff, 50k/hit with Enchant buff

Edit :
This is 100% stab, and I don't have any Unsheathe+ stat
This skill has even better potential now

 

B-bow is fine r-right? We are not fucked, r-right? I'm just starting you know. I don't want to regret it later. I swear every class I played in all MMO ended up being mediocre as hell.

Do you have unsheathe buffs from dw skill tree?

 

Mind to test the damage with 2h ? Since from what i remember last time the damage is higher than using 1h + md causr of solely depend on atk...

 

Nope. I have 0 Unsheathe damage

Also, before nerf it dealt 101k dmg

 

Unfortunately I don't have a 2H char... (Well yes I can actually just equip my char with 2H). Also, I'm using Phyto Blade and York's Pendant so it's kinda low dmg

But someone shouted that Enchant did 350k dmg, while Buster did 140k dmg. But ofc I don't know his stat and gears

 

I bet those are all 2 slot gears with 3-4 odelons on it.

 

What's with the DW salt.
imo, DW was fine back then w/o their T4 skills.
they have more access to different skills(Sword Tree and Enchant Sword) and their T4 skills (Meteor and Bust Blade) in comparison with other classes.
But, *sigh*. I guess others just wanted skills in par with T4 that involves wielding both swords.

 

At least more skills will be added with the 3 stat needed for SC. DW will have to use some balde skills like meteor and buster which is pretty decent on DW.

 

note that he did this alone faster than a full casual t4 random party i team up with during that time.

the speed of dmg output ≥ the power of dmg output.

even if phantom slash dmg is not high,it does not mean you can't out dmg other burst dmg t4 skills with speed

a gsw tenryu user with no odelon can beat a non-gsw full odelon user anytime.

well now it's just spamming impact > shining cross no prorate bandwagon,it's pretty sad.

 

That boss on the video is the special case. Unless there're another proof on usual bosses, I won't believe that t3 dw can out damage bosses (unless the player you used as comparison is average or lower than the average players)
Tho i agree that t3 dw still can catch up with decent gear and bad teammates (*ahem* spam spinning slash and flash blast, lol)

 

All this DW nerf talk yet no numbers on its nerf?

Original SC scaled damage on DEX; we were informed it'll now scale with DEX. AGI, and STR. If only the stat attributes were distributed evenly I would speculate a 1/3rd nerf on its iamage @ lvl190?

I don't pay much attention to my SC numbers. Someone who's more knowledgable should post their own numbers.

 

Uhhhh You're talking about Storm Reaper there. DEX affects SR's power, not SC

 

So finale good now? Can i make my mage now? It wont be any low damage high aggro and always miss skill like it's used to be after second nerf right.

 

I tested before the SC damage with 100% stability and now with the same equipment.

The reduce damage was 20% aprox.

 

Anyone try out binding strikes new dmg yet?

 

I do agree that finale is too much of a no brainer skill coming from a class that should be "intelligence" based, but as for my personal opinion b4 the nerf finale was already a half decent skill, since it has bad scaling, once everyone uses elemental gears and 2s equips, its barely keeping up compared to major dps oriented builds like halb, bow and 2h

Altho it has its niche of dealing decent dmg even without proper gears...

well yes and no, yes a gsw tenryuu user can beat a non-gsw full odelon user, depending on circumstances, but gsw doesnt affect tenryuu much since once you cast 3 tenryuu it gives you +50% motion speed for tenryuu, meaning, the sweet motion speed frow gsw is half-useless since it wont work on tenryuu anymore

he has an entire list of ds tier 3 skill showcase on bosses in his channel btw,great guy.

there's also other ds i know who can accomplish same feats with tier 3 only but since i can't type chinese or japanese for their name /shrug lol.
