WARNING:there's even more new bosses that makes their pattern are very difficult than past old bosses.Even if you countered that fatal attack using p.def and zantei, there's a higher chance that your counterattack only had one timing right before bosses dealts as many times fatal aoe/straight line/foe epicenter attacking at you.

 

True, but that also comes down to the Tank's capability in managing Red Ailments and well, a tough boss always generally requires a Tank regardless for the DPSers to dps efficiently without having to face the main blows from bosses. As for crit resist, mage then

 

Also, there are Supports who increase survivability with immediate first aids, heals, buffs, auras, dances, etc.

Imo, if the DPSer's armor maximizes their player skill and role then it doesn't really matter to me what gear they use.

 

Then that's all the more reason to get Crit, as a dps your job is to dish out damage and staying alive, not staying alive but doesn't hit crap. It's super frustrating when your atk misses

The longer a dps takes to kill the boss the harder it is the tank to survive . So full CRT is best. Unless you plan to solo. So in a party u hide and reduce aggro while dps and allow someone to tank that makes it possible for u to live with low hp and with certain skills u can survive with little no hp

 

It is the matter of preferences

In my case, i like to use 3 stack of gsw (from hb skill tree) for any kind of physical dps (1h,2h,bow,dw,etc)

Which mean i am 100% will be killed by any amount of damage, thus adding more survivability won't add much value to my char. I prefer to dodge everything

And for me, it is fun to play with 1hp condition.

 

Bow chars can also DPS from a safe distance, and doesn't need long combos, so can completely skip on defenses. Even easier with a tank in pt or have really low aggro so any/everyone else will take the boss aggro instead of you

 

but missing attack right now still can recover mp, about prorate im not sure. maybe someone can clarify this? i saw the notice about this , but only remember missed attack can recover mp

 

when was this changed? I know that missed decoy attack still gain mp. But normal attack didn't AFAIK. Really need more info on this.

 

even miss auto attack recover mp, they already changed this last month and i forgot to screenshot it, also i already test it out myself
