how to use dyes

If you have played toram you have heard people shouting for dyes
dyes are actually items like armors/hats/etc just with a different color then normal
by taking these items to synthesis npc you can take the color of the item and add it to another

Earning 1 million Spina is no easy feat to my knowledge haha..

The cost of the dye is in order by how many options you choose:
100s 10ks(I'm not sure) 50ks, and the grand payment is 1 million.
My opinion on npc dye is 1000000% useless. Why spend 1 million spins when you can make your own alchemist? :3
Even we cannot dye armors atm. It's still a good/useful class to build for the time being.

My friend got all upset it was 1mil spina so he sold his dye for 1 spina lol. So i decided to come see what it actually is.
Lesson learned lol

 

So does that mean the only way to dye armour and retain thestats you want without choosing random is to spend a million Spina o_o..?

 

This took 5 attempts and succeeded on the 6th.
62k per attempt
People also do the 2k version.

If it fails your item will fuse with the dye item and you will need to start over

I am a bit bothered today with dye haha
My friend is arguing that it is possible to do a 100% dye with stat transfer method using 100k or so instead of the full 1 million spina.

I am trying to get him here to explain so we can all work the idea out of flaws but he is stubborn.

I am absolutely sure this needs to be discussed in more detail.. I would also love to help improve this thread, it is good but can be great

I am currently saving 1 million spina for my xtal armor dye event but I am concerned there is a better way.

Are alchemists able to dye yet?..
Is it possible to use 1 dyed armor with stat to Successfully synthesize to another armor and have that stat transfer without spending 1 mil and risking losing all the spina i put into both armor....

I want to synthesize my Mage Robe dyed Red B with my new Xtal Armor Heavy remodeled.

 

I came up with a way to dye armor & get good stats with only 100k
You need : armor your going to dye , another armor with good stats & dye
Step 1: dye the armor with good stats & pay only for color & stats
Step 2) use the armor u just dyed & synthesize it with armor u want to dye ( pay for appearance & color)
Result: you'll have the armor u want dyed with stats of
A) good stats of first armor
B) stats of armor u wanted to dye
Both which are good stats
What are your thoughts

How to dye 101

You should dye first lol,always preserve the dye
Then you make your armor badass XD (Idk...refine it or something)
Then reforge
Profit!
(I heard this from a friend,always reforge last since it's costly)

 

1. A,B,C affects different parts of the armor.Some armors don't show C dye or the affected area of the C dye is miniscule lol.
2.Only way is to synthesize
3. Absolutely no idea (Sorry I don't work at Asobimo lol)
Edit question. Again,do I look like I work at Asobimo? (IDK!)

If you were wondering,June's photos on synthesizing was from alpha,when black dye still existed.So there might be a chance (Don't quote me on this) that black might return lol.
Fun fact : Lavarcas used to drop black dye A in alpha,but that drop was replaced by the cyan dye A we all know and love in beta and official.

There's no difference,all of them is for different parts of the equipment.
There's accessory A,B and C just like there is armor A,B and C.
With that,NO! B does not mean body only!

ok I recently dyed my c body. But I notice with other players there whole armor is actually dyed even the tiny spiky crystals on there shoulder. But mine didn't change. does that have to do with C an B dye?
