how to use dyes

Question... I have 3 Red Dyes B and their untradeable... So how do I SELL THEM...??? Do I synthesis it with Cheap Armors???

 

Not just cheap armor,cheap player blacksmith skill crafted armor.

 

Hi guys
I want to know how to successfully dye my armor with all parts A B and C and retain my armor's stats in a cheapest and easiest way.
I am willing to spend atleast 200k to get this done.

Materials:
Main BD armor (with stats that I want)
2pcs Fightwear armor (with Grey and Black dyes, parts A and B)
random armor (with Red dye, part C)

What I am thinking about is that,
1st step: create another BD armor and synth it with fightwear armor. Select BD armor for the appearance and pay 50k to get the Grey dye for part A then random stat.
2nd step: As soon as I got the BD armor with Grey dye part A, I will then synth it to another fightwear armor. Select BD armor with grey dye part A as appearance, then pay 50k to get the Black dye for part B.

Now the question is,
during the 2nd step, under putting dye/color page, it shows Part A, B and C.
If I select "no unique color" on part A, and select Black dye from fightwear armor on part B and pay 50k for it, what's going to happen to part A?
Will it retain the Grey color from what it previously have? or will it revert to the armor's Original basic color?

These steps will be similar for Part C, so until I confirmed that these steps are ok, then I'll proceed with part C.

Any thoughts on this?

 

I was wondering, how do ppl transfer three dye in one armor to another?

 

The easist and cheapest way to dye. For example i want my wolf garb stats with p armor looking and red dye A.
1. Buy/Farm red dye A armor, synthesize with a trash p armor, just lock the dye. If it fails get another trash p armor and try dye again. Do this as long till u get p armor red dye A (it usually takes 1-2 tries).
2. Put ur wolf garb stats on another trash p armor. Same as 1. you just lock stats instead of dye. It takes again 1-2 tries.
3. No combine both armors. Both have plate armor appearence so u dont have to waste a lock on that. Now lock dye and the stats and u got ur P armor red dye a with wolf garb stats. If u dont wanna spend that much u can play risky as well and just lock the dye or the stats, works in 50% of the time though.
So if u took the safe method u payd 54-58k (if you get really unlucky in the 1. step it can be.a bit more) spina. If u took the risky method u payd 6k-? Spina.

Congratz, u added 1 dye and another appearence to ur wish stats.

Now, this is my way to add a 2nd dye:
I already have my p armor red dye a with wolf garb stats. But i wanna add Red dye B as well.
1. Buy/Farm Red dye B and get 1-3 trash p armors. Now combine the red dye b with the trash p armor like in 1. of the first dye add.
2. Now combine this armor with ur p armor red dye and wolf stats. In this case i play risky. I don't have to lock appearence because both armor look like p armor. So i lock wolf garb stats and red dye a. I hope for the 50% chance that red dye B will be added as well. And like u can see on my profil pic i was lucky^^

So for second dye u spend 52k-?k.

If u took the risky method in 3. of first dye add and got lucky u pay 58k-?k
If u took the save method in first dye add u payed 106-?k

The "?" remarks that i don't know how often it will fail till u get success.

guys help us. so if we choose "no unique color" what will happen? will it retain the dyed color? or will it revert back to original armor color?

Guys i got a plate armor which is black i dyed it at synthesist

 

For me, it's easier to farm mats to blacksmith your own appearance equips than farming dyes (unless it was the coryn dye event)
Here's what I do:
1)Make several copies of the appearance armor/add gear you want (I. E. Plate armor)
2)use 2k (may need a few tries; I. E. 5 tries is 10k; i usually get in 3-6 tries so far) to get:
stat [I. E. Ooze armor] (confirmed) + appearance [I. E. Plate armor] (random)
until you get stat + appearance you want
3)use 2k (may need a few tries too) to get:
appearance [I. E. Plate armor] (random) + dye [I. E. Black] (confirmed)
until you get appearance + dye you want
4)use 50k to combine set1(stat[ooze]+appearance[plate]) + set2(appearance[plate]+dye[black])
5)you get final product:
stat[ooze] + appearance[plate] + dye [black]

You need to prepare to farm mats enough for a few tries, and I admit that can get v tiring.. but I guess the extra mats can be sold off to help fund the customization. I use my wife's char, my main and an alt; three devices) to farm mob parts specifically (speeds up the process) and do boss rushes (easy bosses i can multitask 3 chars; harder bosses i.e. volg onwards, i need a party), sell everything except my required mats, and get that Lil syn project going..

i dont really know how to get a second dye on without messing up tho...
as of now I don't have alot of spina... damn you synthesis npc! XD

 

Lol nobody would ever synth Ooze with Plate app XD. Ooze is too (sexy) attractive on the female characters.

 

Haha um.. I'm the 'nobody' who did that.. haha I prefer plate armor (evade) over ooze appearance.. XD

 

why dont i have the option to choose the color? the "random" button thing? i have a dye but i dont have this option. please help.

 

How can I put dye in adv garb? Like a dye in a accessory

 

the same way you put dye on accessories, but since you can only synthesize items of the same type, you need and armor with a dye.
some bosses have them. all mini-bosses have them.
only KIng Potum, doesn't have one, Lavarca has it instead.

yes, but it has the dye that King Potum doesn't have.
but they are still tough when you fight them on Lv20. they are like a preview to what mini-bosses are.
