200 Stats (per Equip)

    @lvl32 to use 100 points and then doubled to help show detail better.

    When I get the chance to make a lvl? with 200 stat points, I'll redo it and post that, since vit supposedly changes.

    It has nothing to do with "pure" or "hybrid" builds. This is simply information as to what putting points into these stats do when a particular weapon is equipped. Armor and shield was added so that no one asks if they add something too and I have to go and comb my guild blog again for it. Lol

    In the future I will redo it at base 200 rather than base 100 (doubled) so that everyone can compare.

    And "pure"....o_O
    Bro we will max out a stat soon and then what? You gonna just say screw it and not use the other 300-400 stats points you'll get by endgame? Stats max out. Pick a new one. Idk what else to say.

    I included shield and armor so you know that they do nothing positive. The stats they show is actually your stats without any equips minus what having them equipped does.

    So here's an example of how you add up staff mage stats. It also gives you a great look at the options in the class for endgame. I will be covering Endgame stat suggestions in New threads this week. And talking about what does what and how.

    @Mugami Impressive efforts on compiling the information and presenting them in easy to mix & add spreadsheets!

    However I noticed a few things:
    1. From your example of a Staff Mage and looking at the 4 sets of stats, I realized that Universal and Shield don't have any Physical Def under Vit. And that normal armor has only 200 Def. I find it weird because the total physical defence is very low at 200!
    2. I believe you have missed out the portion where stats are added when a character's level is increased, without any addition of stat points.
    3. I am also surprised to find shields giving ASPD with Agi stat. It somehow escapes my logic because shields have weight and shouldn't boost agility or attack speed. Instead it should enhance defence, be it physical or magical.
    Let's look at my Farming Mage as an example and compare against your information.

    Character Stats:
    Level 75 | 140 Int | 70 Luk

    Skills:
    HP Boost Lv10 (1,000 hp)
    No Shield Mastery (hence Aspd penalty)

    Equips (without xtals):
    Weapon = Mace of Destruction
    Sub = Ooze Shield
    Armor = Normal Oracle Robe
    Additional = Crystal Earrings
    Special = Magic Talisman II

    As we can observe:
    1. Physical Defence = 142 @ 1 Vit
    2. Aspd = 82 @ 1 Agi with Aspd penalty
    3. Cspd = 179 @ 1 Agi, 1 Dex
    4. HP = 813 (without 1k HP from HP Boost)
    No stat points are added to the above 3 (Vit, Agi & Dex) and yet we observed positive differences for Def, Aspd, Cspd and HP respectively.
    Hence, we can deduce there are natural stat growths as character level increases.

    Since the above conclusions are derived via deduction, anyone is welcome to verify and confirm via other methods.

    Great post!!
    I seem to be getting around ~100 aspd penalty from equipping shields, i have no agi stat
    but getting no penalty equipping dagger subs
    Also i wasnt getting any additional dmg from armors and shields while my main stat is str? might be a null value too..

    Cspd of 588 you mean? That's universal regardless of equip. Its not the staff.

    That's because Sheild tree is where you get all the bonuses to Def & MDef. Plus, shields give Eva/Gaurd which mitigates some damage/attacks. So this makes sense to me. Even running some numbers in my head right now, that looks right.

    That was missed on purpose. This is calculated from lvl32 and then doubled to show linear growth. I will make a second set of charts in a month or so for lvl80 and true 200. I can't just include char increases in these. It would show false positives, making the whole thing void.

    You're logic here, I understand. However, you're confusing agility with dexterity, irl. The game aside, you can use a shield to actually help deliver momentum to your sword arm from the shield and redirect the blade with the edge of your shield to make backswings change direction midswing. But that's the real world and 22 years of martial arts experience. Lol.
    In the game, I think they have a similar concept. Honestly, small shields like the ones in-game only weigh between 3-15lbs. Most are around 6. An average real katana or broadsword weighs 3.5-4lbs. Shields are held close to the body so they don't feel as heavy as the lighter sword and you don't swing them around and tire out the arm the same way you do with a sword.
    Further, each shield itself has a Def stat and that's where you get the def from using a shield. All shields are not the same and shouldn't give the same def. A buckler sux compared to a tower shield at defense. So vit giving def just sounds like a horrible idea. No offense.

    This may be true. But remove All your equips then make a lvl1 and compare. I will do that later.

    You get an Aspd penalty from using any weapon. The stats are if you have no weapon equipped. And shield will also appear to have a penalty when a weapon is used with it. However, the double penalty can be removed because of using both with shield mastery.

    Lol. I could do a chart for char growth....roflmao. But no way in hell.
    It would be lvl1, screenshot, lvl2, screenshot, lvl3, screenshot, lvl4 stab myself. That is too tedious. Plus I don't have the time. I got other stuff to lvl. Granted, doubt anyone will do it until I do it.

    I still got to finish the crit charts, 4 bses (i made a refiner now too), plus do the battle skill "pre-" tests.....max my main chats on my accounts.....enjoy the game in there somewhere....:confused:
    It will be a long time before I get to char baseline lvl increases.
