    If I remember, refine affect attack on its weapon only. the weapon status not affected by refinement. CMIIW

    it is a good idea too. But I recommended you put your crit+10 on armor with str%.
    We can't let our rely on war helm (warmo) go away easily. It does much to our critical about +16%. If you use on crit+10 it already add 10% real critical chance, so that's mean you do critical +6% real critical chance itself. It's a great deal.

    All u have to do is pick 2 same atk value. And remove all gears except weap. Make sure 1 of them have atk5% and another don't have any. Make sure both refined.

    ik it is. but think of it this way... you get a weapon atk7%str7%cd7% (with say... warhelm warmo...)
    vs a weapon atk5%cd7%cd10crit10 with (drag ears+warmo)
    you get both crit 16 and cd7% and cd2 case closed but would you rather have
    an additional str7%atk2% over cd10cd5%?

    EDIT: lets just say dragon ears' str3 is almost equivalent as Warhelm's wpn atk+10

    I did.
    I use shortsword+1 with same 12 atk. one I add atk+2% and one clear status. my atk with no equipment is 129.
    shortsword+1 clear -> 652 atk
    shortsword+1 atk2% -> 664 atk

    #now I want to write the calc.

    102% * 652 atk = 665 atk (or nearly same as 664 atk plus minus 1).

    conclusion : refinement not affect on status effect.
    status effect clearly still on its purpose, only adding the actual atk I have with clear shortsword+1 (652 atk).

    I also think that ATK% stat on gears is based off your Base ATK, but this test you did is pretty vague for the simple reason that +1 of 12 wouldn't even add a full number to the 12. Better try testing it on a weapon with 50+ ATK and refinement of +5^ so we could really notice how big the difference could be or if there's still no difference at all.

    U should higher refine and bigger atk weapon.

    2% atk short sword with 12 atk.. Is just..i dun even know how to word myself.

    OK I tell u my stats.

    I have 1856 atk. Total atk% is 23%. 5% from special gears. 6% from add gear. 5% from armour. 7% from weap.

    Every 1% increase 14.5atk. I have a base atk of 765 because of str. 32 because of dex.

    Then throw in 105 atk (let don't matter with other small detail for now). Due to level

    My weapon is 132 +s.but I will use 130.

    So technically my base around 1k. If that's so, I will only have 1k or so base atk.

    But every 1% = 14.5atk. Why? Because at +s our Anni sword lll gave a refinery value of 3.37x. 450 atk or less.

    Try it on +b refinery at 100 atk sword.

    1% atk of +1, 12 atk sword = 0.1 atk. How u can even math it when this stats screen doesn't show u decimal...

    yes thank you, although atk7%str7%cd7% is still really good because you can resell it after you have fun with the weapon
    those weird stat atk%cd7%cd10crit10 not much ppl buy those
    yeah haha the shortsword+1 isnt a good for comparing...lol

    yeah lol. but those weird status will lose if preca and impact show the truth behind attack of weapon status that refined. cause it is a big deal for multiplying attack if using our difference str7%atk2%, then it refined. it goes beyond only atk5%

    I dont mind being wrong.. If someone can explain it, It would benefit the community.

    I'm sure atk up and sword mastery doesn't boost much dmg.. And for sure it can't affect atk% that much.

    My base atk without atk% around 1400 tho. But was taken it during lv100. That time my per 1% atk is 14.

    yeah no need to list down which is better
    on trikick base builds, often you get more dmg if you build up a lot cd,atk since trikick naturally crits anyway
    plus ppl who see s7%atk7%cd7% is so attracted to it, its extremely easy to resell and most likely, weapons made on the anniv event won't go outdated until cap120 as well as the 7% stats.... the %cap for stats wouldnt change for a loong time

    Atk% does increase with the refined weapon, example lvl 105 255str, with a annisword3 2h atk is 1001, +9refine adds 114, without refine atk10% adds 100atk, with both ud get 1226atk so really ur only getting 11atk extra by having both, its such a small amount

    ATK UP is only ATK +26 at Lv105 (it scales +1 every 4 levels, which is a pretty low amount for the SP invested). Battle Skills add to your base stats, so you can include the amount of ATK added by Attack UP to the calculations of Base ATK, same happens with Critical UP, Defense UP, Magic UP, etc.

    Sword Mastery is ATK +3% at Lv10. However, as it only activates if you're wearing a sword in the main hand I'm not sure if it is added to the Base ATK calculation of the ATK% in gear. For this we would need Character A without S. Mastery and Character B with the passive at Lv10. Equip both with ATK% and compare, if the amount of attack added by the weapon was the same then S. Mastery isn't included on the calculation. If it differs, then it is.
