whats a better build? 1.4k+ mana or aspd+ampr? im thinking of 3 mauez+roga for the 1st build and eerie+fcape+gs+roga+s.roar for the 2nd

 

if you wanna spam out combos without ever thinking of recharging mp and know that you can kill the boss by spamming skills with 1.4k mana. go for mana.

if you wanna go aspd hitting 2k-4k per hit of normal attacks while regaining mp to dish out stronger skill damage because of damage drop off. go for aspd + ampr

if you want balance, 800 mp, and decent amount of ampr can get you that. you can spam around 4 sets of combos while regaining mp in a short period of time

 

well do you think would be best against say roga and specific equip builds?

 

roga has 250k hp and has decent amount of def. so going spamming skills and ignoring damage drop off is not that much good.
if i would reccommend a build, id suggest something like my dw. but considering you don't have that much aspd and dont have an increased base ampr, id go for the balanced build. 800 mp is good. considering you have muscle talisman that gives you +300 mp, and using an fcape would give you + 50 so at lvl 75 you get 425 mp. i'd suggest ignore getting roga first and get hp boost so you can use 2 mauez 2 sroar and 1 eerie. or get roga 2sroar gskel eerie and get mp boost.

 

from my lvl 75 char, you have 175 base mp, muscle talis II(300mp)+fcape(50mp)+2mauez(150mp). This leaves me with gskel and eerie for the remaining xtals?

 

yup. thats possible. standard build for most 2h right now

2-4k normal attack on what monster? I believe my equipment are considered good but I can only crit around 2k at best (warmonger).

 

I vote for aspd+ampr for long run. 1.4k gives you 7 combos usually and if boss not dead it will be a headache. 2nd reason is because your second build is exactly what I'm using lol.

 

do you use mp charge 10?

 

MP charge 1 is enough for ampr build, change to staff for faster recharge.

Still the good ol astute> hh> trigger combo, fast but destructive! Hehe

Or the hard hit> astute(smite) trigger, costs 300mp but packs a wallop!

Spiral air> hh cons, astute cons, trigger cons <--- from @makOi build
For quick flinching, costs 300mp

smash>hh cons> astute cons> trigger cons> warcry <--- spam to get all ranks! Huehue costs 100mp

 

what about astute>HH>trigger>spiral?
or astute>HH>sonic>spiral>trigger just to get trigger buff

 

The first combo works good especially on gold skelly. Didnt try the second coz of skill limitations. Looks good though.
