3lock fail?

is it still a possibility to fail 3 lock even it says success rate: 100% ?
meh nvm. my friend was just bluffing...

 

i have done over 100+ 3locks and haven't failed yet.. and if it says 100% success it means 100% success.... but when u lock 3/5 items the 3items u locked are guarantee but the other 2 are random.. but it's possible to perform a full 5 lock if u get 2/5 duplicates .

 

Lock isn't actually 100%, but 90+%, that's why you still succeed most of the time. There are pretty recent updates about the alchemist skill tree...

 

The only thing that may fail is if you want to do more than 3 lock. For example: app, stats, 2 dyes.

Like Aromitic said, it's possible to perform a full 5 lock guaranteed if you have some spare spina to buy duplicate of the dye/arm/stats. It's more cheaper than gambling over and over.

 

Then it wouldn't be lock, but trying your luck xD iirc, locks aren't actually 100% guaranteed...

 

I have 100% whenever I lock stuff, but I'm guessing it's due to the equipment synthesis skills and/or tec points (I have all of them maxed)
my non tec alchemist (from a very long time ago, when I knew nothing) only had 74% success rate when locking stuff

 

They just utilize the term lock due to 3 is the limit of the player, but it isn't it's random. However, locks are 100% guaranteed. (1, 2, and 3 Lock depending on your TEC character and synthesis proficiency)

PS: 3 Locked, 2 Randoms (with duplicates) is still considered as locking. Since you get to keep all. But not in the terms of the 3 limit the game is giving. Understand?

 

The success rate of locks actually depends on your alchemist build. Don't think it is actually lock 100%, when you succeed all the time, you just haven't failed it yet lol

 

Where'd you get this info. 90% success rate in this game is like is like no wayyyy I'd succeed. Does this apply to two lock because I have never failed. If u have tries a 90+% success rate gamble stat ud know that its fails a lot . does this work on a different RNG that Toram has secretly implemted because I have never failed a 100% 2lock OwO

Welp even your 3lock has a 100% success rate there is still such thing as human error... Which is a "fail" but technically is not...

Or his alchemist char has 0 tech and got lvl 100 proficiency....

 

It's the same analogy with 100% success rate stats, it doesn't fail no matter what. As long it's 100%. (Since 98% can fail based on experience)

Perhaps you need to Lvl 10 your Synthesize Skill Tree.

 

Well, it isn't 100% now with new updates according to your build, but close to, forgot the exact percentage.

It would fail if you dont lock em 100% succes mean guaranted it will succes, each lock will never lies except for the random thing you choose. Random means 50:50 but you can cover em up with simillar item like app, dye, and stats which can give you 4 or 5 lock without gambling it
