A high defense boss option?

So, Knuckles is weak against High defense bosses because it lacks any Physical pierce on Rush/Chariot/Shellbreak
I was wondering with the new Gem dusts, can we reuse Shellbreak and Heavy Smash to bypass some defense?
Shellbreak enchancer increases Armour break chance to 50% (without Annihilator however) and Piercing Heavy Smash gives 50% pierce to Heavy Smash.

• If (Boss def - Boss level)> 250, then we have a Multiplier of 7 on Shellbreak, with 50% pierce.
• If Armour break hits, Heavy Smash has an effective Multiplier of 11.5, now also with 50% pierce. [Armour break + 50% pierce ignores a lot of Defense, 75% or so]

Yes, Heavy Smash animation is slow, but at least Knuckles can penetrate high defense bosses easily if timed well. If you're using Knuckle Assassin, then Sicarus gives you even more Pierce.

If Shellbreak had higher cap for increased Multiplier on high def boss, then it would be really vicious.

 

my favorit job is knuckle. but knuck have toy gun with 50% pierce. with that weapon i can set equipment to 100% PP.
so idk, tier lvl 3 skill can win if vs tier 4 with toy gun or not. i'll try after get heavy smash star dust.

but lets assume we fight with zhahak ultimate. lvl 160 deff 6k. with skill lvl 10 and some calculation cons/mult bonus we get this:
max cons SB= 800 (150+150+500)
max mult SB= 7 (2+5)
pierce SB= 50% (chance break 25%)(50% with stardust)

cons HS= 300 (200+100)
mult HS= 4 (2.5+1.5) (bunus 2nd hit mult=5 if break)
pierce HS= 50% with stardust

with toy gun 50% pierce: (my agy 300+)
cons chariot= 500
mult chariot= 13.5 (10+3.5)

if my atk 3k and my lvl 220. help me calculate that. what is better skill lvl 3+star dust vs skill lvl 4 with toy gun
