JK JK Nice video and shout outs to the DW's who have inspired you. That's honestly my favorite part ~

 

Nice video there . Been a while since i have played dual swords ever since asobimo messed up its balance. The new changes to phantom may help but its not enough to convince to return to that playing style. So for now I'll stay as an archer, it matches my playing style more. I like to auto attack and then attack at the right moments. That style gives me more control.

 

Dw was fun until the spamming decoy impact sc arrive to the equation.

I remember those days when pure skill is needed for dw to be able to spam a high dmg skill.

Dw has high ampr and can easily do aac but decoy ruined it for me..

 

Just to add to that Asobimo then tried to apply a DW balance that was sooo stupid. If decoy spam was making DW so OP then they should of just had that skill to be only for Bow users or users using an arrow. Rather then nerf DW speed and damage on shinning cross. After the nerf that skill was so choppy to use. It did not have the same fluent feel anymore.

If you're doing a tribute as a long time player you should add in Cypherian, another OG DW player, it was nice to see you reference a variety of players who popularized certain aspects of the class. From the DMG potential to AGIL potential to optimizing AMPR, STR, ASPD, etc. Though at this point in the game there's not much real difference between builds IMO. The Dual 101 Simplified Thread we made is essentially a collective amount of info that's simplified (Bootleg/Getting a general idea of how stats, skills, playstyles work w/o need for formulas and exact numbers) and a more current to date guide than Cyphy's. No need to really reference me since it's just some knowledge sharing and keeping it easy to understand. We weren't involved in the Toram Community really so we don't really feel the need to be referenced/credited for that thread since we did nothing really for the community other than helping out and being a semi advocate DW player using a Tri-Stat Build.
Somewhat long but felt it'd be better just to put our full thoughts down on here instead of making a long comment.

Might be dumb but little DW Trivia just cause this video is bringing out the love I had/have for the game
Gen 1
DW's who really work with the base class/skill set and little to no buff skills to really optimize it to its full potential. Specifically focusing on AMPR.
Early 90-120 cap
Gen 2
Dw's who started to use buff skills outside of the DW skill set with occasionally trying to add in another skill. I.E Tempest, Buster Blade Quick Aura, Rampage+Rampage
mid 100s cap
Gen 3
DW's who use whatever skills to maximize the class potential even more. I.E All buff skills possible lol and sp for dps skills. Did I mention Decoy Yet?
Essentially gen 3 is the youtube high dmg numbers people coming in with a side of meta. But hey whatever works works. This statement is a joke
160-current cap

 

Would love to see decoy becoming classified for bow/bowgun/arrow usage only tbh tho they should fix knux ampr problem first. Even with decoy my knux is having a hard time in ampr department.

My knux is currently complete with 9k aspd(without tera) and can do a constant 400k impact rush and 1m Goliath.

I like the new buff annihilator since it helps aspd user like me to have a decent dmg.
Goliath dmg is pretty normal tho its not as op as those other charge skills like cf and garyou.

Im having fun with it. Ill be posting some video soon ^^

 

I see. Would be cool if knuckles had double AMPR like DW. That would actually make sense since knuckles has to use two fists to auto attack just like how DW uses two swords to auto attack.
