About def and mdef also resistances

How def and mdef reduce damage taken?
And which better? Good def armor or good refined armor?

250def is 20% reduction
1000def is 27.5% reduction
Gaining 1000def from 250def would get you 0.725/0.8 = 0.9 which is 10% less damage/ reduction.
So yeah its a bit more noticable but still doesnt change the fact that 10% physical resistance is easier to get than 750def.

 

So, if i buy an adv.garb and refine it to +B, that will not much difference between dmg which i took when i using armigma +B?

 

It depends on how much def you already have, if you have more than 250def/mdef with adv garb getting armigma will make no difference at all.
If your def/mdef is less than 250 even on armigma then you will take around 5-6% more damage from adv garb.
This also comes down to your class, if you use arrow or not, armor remodel and int/vit. You can calculate your total def from gears or can tell me your gears I can calculate for you.

 

i play as dual wield, on my status character i have 275 def(cause of avatar def+70), 205 mdef, my additional and armor r both +C, and i remodeled armor to light.
Is remodeled armor affect resistances too?

 

275 on adv garb right? Imo stick with it then.
Most of the time having a low def 2s armor is more beneficial than a high def 1s armor.

It will stay forever but craftable only during autumn. I still have 10pcs from last year.
Gonna hoard at least 4-5stks this time
