About Mitta (T_T) pet and magical skills...

Quick question to the fella pet enthusiasts here. The new mitta tret pet, does its "533%" animation skill have a 'blue down arrow' if you try to link a magical skill against it? I'm hoping not... Thanks in advance!

 

What do you mean by blue down arrow tho? Probably no one answered because no one understood what it means.

 

attack patterns have innate types, that are not directly visible to the player.

"support" types will show a "red arrow up" for support skills like Encourage. using this pattern will increase the effect of support skills.

"consecutive" deals multiple hits, "move" changes the pet's position during the attack.

then there are "physical" and "magic" patterns, which enable critical hits or perfect aim respectively. using those with a skill of the opposite type will give the skills a property which they normally don't have, so they get a penalty applied, indicated by a "blue arrow down".

physical skills on magic patterns have high hit rate, but can no longer deal critical hits.
magic skills on physical patterns can deal critical hits, but have their hit rate lowered in exchange.

 

Ahh...so the down arrow sometimes appear depending on the animation and type of attack. Here is example when i am selecting animation for physical normal attack:

I was given a mitta pet but know nothing about it’s usefulness. Is it a good pet?

 

In practice, am not sure yet... gonna be testing it a bit later.
On paper, definitely promising (highest skill modifier so far + ranged magic auto)
