hey guys! Semi New player here but definitely new with pets. Just got a sly manticore earlier.

    Questions:
What’s th best pet for each class? (I’m specifically a halberd user)
What are the best looking pets? wjether stray or egg. Pls show pics!
What’s the difference of a pet that is from an egg?
How does discipline affect the pet? Like the way you train it and stuff like if it failes etc..
How do you know the potential of the pet

Please give guides also if you can! Appreciate it. Have a good day!

Welcome (to the world of pets)!

Its probably as simple as using a pet with magic skills if ur build is physical and vice versa. The main use is extra auto-attacker for proration. To really make the most of a pet, you need a specialist build that keeps plying the pet up with mp.
Up to you really. With a good name you made up yourself, any/every pet look will be the best!
Main difference is their max level matches your highest main (rounding down to the nearest 10 levels). Other differences: 'Winning' over strays takes a lot longer. You can pay spina to buy them from cages (note these are not eggs).
You need to build it up to 100% before you can take it to battle with you. Having 'Discipline +50%' buff reduces the chances of failure when training (adding potential stats) this up to 100%
Potential (stats) is what you build up when you train the pet up 100%. Try to get as high as possible in your pet's preferred stat before 100% (after rolling for skills)

There are plenty (and much more detailed) guides, within this section so please read up some more yourself.

    Enjoy and have fun
