Any suggestions

Im an HB main i love my own style of HB but seeing youtubers HB build makes me question my own do you guys have any suggestions for an HB build?

 

What is it about their builds that make you question your own?

 

Wouldn't it be better for you to stick to your own playstyle, which you like and have become used to? Rather than following builds that wouldn't realistically work in most random parties.

I'm also building a halb which uses both DT and Chronos Drive, it's a nice MP regen skill if you have 3stks GSW on. But that's also the main problem there, you need to be fast enough haha

 

There builds looks like they are stronger but i recieve some comments from my guildies that my build can keep up with them even if i have bad equips and they have +S 2s

 

I don't know which of our Guildmates told you that, but if the person using the +S 2s equips have horrible playstyle and you don't have the best equips but have good playstyle, then yes you can keep up with them

 

Mostly builds on YouTube are " Alto/Don Yeti/ Iconos damage testing" which are pretty useless btw (Just wonder if they can solo SDM or not?) So just follow your own build then.
(Mine is similar to 1Hp GSW, take 1 point of dive impact, max WCOS and Chronos Drive for sustainability. About Revita, I use them manually, not automatically and always set my health to <50% with Quick Aura/Kaikiri so I can spam WCOS to gain my mana back).

My build is old but it's basically a brainless decoy impact DT kairiki combo for max damage and max burn. It's a short range style that requires you to burn yourself constantly and risk yourself to death for supreme power. If you want you can add Demon claw to your repertoire. Pretty much only good in save battles like venena. With ampr food buff+kairiki at the end of impact+dt combo, you can spam without having to land any auto attacks. Edit: I heard that you will recover mp even on misses now. So you can do 1 auto attack. You can also add regret less for more ampr

 

On evasions from both decoy and yourself, misses won't recover your mp except decoy.

 

Ah, I think I mistook it for some rant about ampr being "atk mp recovery" few days ago on a thread

 

Most of your damage comes comes from your equipment anyways, so you could probably keep most of your playstyle.

 

Hey I used to spam WCOS Lv10...
And then I reset skills (free reset) after a friend told me no one does that and how it's inconvenient compared to Decoy(but idk I like WCOS better since some bosses move so much that you only lose the MP from Decoy).
What a waste of free reset...

 

This was last week though, will have to see again whether they have patched it or not after the update on Thursday.

 

Guess like they've changed ampr to on-attack effect, not an on-hit effect anymore.

I wonder if its a wise choice sacrifing my HP and atk buff for more Atk and crit my HP is 6k before now its 4k

 

If you can avoid getting hit at all times, yeah. But there are some really annoying bosses like Noeliel raid, which would be hard to avoid every single hit from the mobs and the boss. Youtube builds with low HP are usually for playing in coordinated parties (usually they have guilds and parties with good players), and not with randoms who don't have brains.

 

halberd arrow build myself - aim for evasion build
add snipe - 70% to armor break (useful for soloing)
decoy - for mp
kairiki - for mp
after breaking armor using snipe, spam dragon tooth for me
mostly for soloing

 

Armor break is useless for DT since DT basically ignores all the target's def.
