Anyone achieved 100% Magic Pierce and Crit?

Just curious,
if not what is the optimal balance for both?

 

100% mag pierce, 400% crit

 

Do not forget mages do not have high crit damage , so even a 400% crit might not make a huge difference to dps output

 

You can have a max of 87% magic pierce

Edit: necromancer hood gives you 6% more pierce compared to devil hood, so max would be 93%

INT/CRT: Both maxed.

(Skill build)
Magic skills: This is a given. You will be using magic.

Mononofu: Twohanded if using staff only, also meikyo.

Battle skills: Spell Burst passive and all critical passives.

(Equipment)
Weapon and armor is CRCR% with % pierce
Additional Armor is % pierce and CR priority
Special equipment is CR and/or % pierce priority

Nb: I've never mad this build so i cant specify specific equipment, sorry. But you can use coryn club to search up those specifications.

Your magic will now crit.

Magic critical means nothing without investing into crit damage, which you wont have a lot of because no STR. You also wont have much MATK so your magic wont be very strong on normal/hard mode bosses and you'd get outclassed easily at nightmare and ultimate difficulties. Even with 400% crit, you have another problem, stability, which means your magic dps is gonna fluctuate wildly to make crit not even matter.

Tl;dr? You get litterally nothing from magic critical.

the backlash from getting constant magic crit is too large compared to increasing your base Matk and M.Pierce.

you will get absolutely nothing or even heavy losses in the end if you keep bulldozing for 400% crit on a mage..

 

here is the thing, first about magic pierce, there's no equip that give a frickin huge amount of magic pierce like how it is in physical part (proto & toygun), so in order to reach 100% magic pierce you need sacrifice most of the xtal slot for magic pierce xtal. Second, let's say you managed to get 100% magic pierce, the other problem is the magic crit, in order to make a sure hit magic crit (with only using spell burst passive) you need to have 400 flat crit, 4 times from the actual crit needed for physical part and the only way to reach that ridiculous amount of crit is by capping CRT stat, but not ended in that, you still need the help of proto clarity sword and curious dress, but not ended with that again, you still need some items to give another extra crit since the crit given from CRT stat, proto and curious dress still not enough. Eventhough you managed to reach 100% magic pierce, i'm pretty sure you have to use weapon that give magic pierce, thus decreasing your crit by a lot since using proto only (with 255 CRT) means an extra 140 crit, so you must sacrifice one of it, either magic pierce or the crit rate.
You think the problem ended with only that? lol. last problem will be MATK and crit damage. Let's say you somehow managed to get 100% magic pierce and 400 crit, by no means you'll sacrifice a lot of MATK (since you'll use 1h-MD), and not to mention, your gears all being occupied with magic pierce and crit stat, neglecting crit damage stat that only can be obtained by 2 way, increasing it from STR and from gears.
I wont give any tldr shit because i'm pissed at you and you dont seems to try build it by yourself, you can use coryn.club and check which gears is good for you, oh dont say that you didnt know coryn site at all because you're new. Then again, i'm sure it's not your fault for not knowing coryn so i'm sorry if i'm a bit harsh
