Anyone have any REAL info on katana release?

Seriously since I started playing a few months back I've herd rumor of katana/samurai class, I've herd many rumors on supposed release but I'm starting to think people are just talking shit for the sake of looking like they are in the know, when in actuality they have no idea what they're talking about. So let's get past the verbal diehera is there anyone who has conformable information from aso or live stream that gives a actual timeline for release? Because so far I've herd it was supposed to come in the Nov update then it was going to be on the first of dec then it was speculated it would be released in the last matinance or the one Comming up but still just bullshit rumors and no katana starting to get frustrated with all the misinformation........

 

Be patient, there was no known date for the release, but we only got that it was releasing in December, and most people are saying next week so, pray they're correct. lol

 

(Check at 1:25:00) Stream for the Tokyo game show for the projected release when they announced Samurai.

The release looks like it's for December. Don't know who said November though.

Also, don't know why you're getting frustrated. Get over it and do something else with your holiday maybe?

 

Word of advice: get used to it. Asobimo and many Japanese devs aren't keen on releasing info (especially to us outsiders), and most of their blog posts are in Japanese, so unless you know how to read it, there's no real way to get some reliable info.

What we're doing is based on what we know and what we can deduce out of it. We know for a fact that Katana is planned to be released this December thanks to the TGS info, but we know nothing else. So we went and deduced based on last year, when they released Halberds. They released Halberds on the 15th of December so everyone thought it would be released tomorrow. But as shown, that isn't the case. In fact, I went and checked their channel, and today was a Aurcus Online livestream.
I then went and made another deduction: livestreams about updates usually happen around the 20th - 25th of the month. Also, there was no clear video showcasing the skills in their entirety (we had some small discussions here and there and some teaser videos, but not a complete showcase of the skill tree). This always happens for big updates: Halberds, Sword Skill/Dual Sword Skill revamp, pet system, you name it. Based on this, the most likely outcomes are the 21st (aligns the most with the livestream updates; my personal bet) or the 28th (aligns with the end of the Xmas event; unlikely since it's kind of rough on the devs to make this huge update on the game and then have to handle the possible bugs, whereas the previous date gives them more days to set things straight).

However it is entirely possible that they choose another date or delay the class for next month or even February, but this is a thing not even the Japanese folks can predict.

 

But they delay their releases all the time so imo, theres no set date

 

Not so much frustrated with the delay but with the large amount of people who have made claims of exact release dates from non existent information causing undue excitement and disappointment.

No I get what your saying I totaly understand the impossibility of predicting a release with minimal to no information, and I feel like atleast when the predictions are incorrect they initially had basis to be made and were valid reasons. It's the folks who claim they can translate japanese and know for a fact it's set to release on this day, then make unfounded claims that it's been delayed or provide some other excuse when it's not relased. Had one person give me a whole detailed list of information they supposedly translated from the Japanese news on when it was supposed to be relased and that it was going to be delayed until late February early March due to unforeseen bugs. That was later proved to be all B.S as the same person failed to correctly translate basic japanese upon request....... I guess all corners of the web are filled with people claiming things they have no knowledge of to feel special.

 

Aso is probably jusy trying to milk the hype.
