(ask) Boss lvling for tank

Is there a list for easier boss to tank on tank lvling, I mean shit like Cerberus hard and stuff are easy for other class but will cause tank to be dizzy as hell( well at least for me )

 

Theres no such thing as "hard to tank" bosses. There are certain bosses that are mildly annoying to tank but thats about it. If you feel. Tanks should always go for ulti/nm mode boss farming for lvling if party is available or people that are willing to help.

If you are not a pure tank but a semi then understandable if you cant tank certain bosses but if you are a pure tank you really should consider modifying your build. I suggest switching to MTL>VIT with 100% ailment resistance with decoy shot. That combination itself makes a tank immortal with p.def. Aggro generation is up to you, bowgun shield has the best aggro generation around while knux has the most interrupts.

 

well , Cerberus is fun tho. I did it on ulti (tanking) , just dont stun , flinch and tumble so your party members no need to die.

 

As long as there is a party, you can level easily as a tank.

 

Mine is a classic 1h+shield pure tank, I did have mtl just till 50, i just feel that sometimes i can't tank a boss well enough, even when we won, I'd be wasting eb on those hard bosses. But easy ones probably don't need tank > <

 

Well its based on personal preference, but here is a small list. It is not conclusive.

Mild bosses (straightforward aoe to cast pdef)
-Zelbuse
-Boss Roga
-Tyrant Machina
-Warmonger
-Don Yeti
-Super Death Mushroom
-Demon Gate

Annoying Bosses
-Mozto (Flies + knockback when you stun/tumble/flinch after 1/3 max hp left)
-Volotur(Powerful magic aoe that is almost fatal, cast aegis to prevent deaths)
-Ultimate Machina(Long range laser and jumps very far distances)
-Dusk Machina(many Fist machina that inflicts stun to annoy tank after using Guardian)

Frustrating bosses (depends on people's pref)
-Guignol(Has a magic Eye that cast fatal magic aoe that kills in 1-hit)
-Venena(Has magic ball and devastating laser that is fractional dmg=1/3 continuous dmg of your mas hp, per second)

 

Venena is the easiest boss to tank out of all the bosses available, I made my tec BS a tank by letting her equip my bowgun tank's equipment and lvled her from 150 to 175 at venena, you just needed to stand in front, spam aggro combos, and keep the giant laser down the center lane so it wont hit the dps. The laser can't touch you if you stand in front of venena which is the blind spot, the balls die if you use impact when they're beside you, you just needed to watch out for the meteors and blue aoe and it's very easy tanking, it's not frustrating at all xD

IIRC that Mega laser of Venena's is also Magic DMG... Extra large magic dmg... and also hits more than once per se

 

Yah, its easier to tank. With my bs tec » dex (Bowgun) and bs str » dex (ktn) I can tanking Venena NM XD
