Well..

I am pretty sure why some people have troubles with this boss.. This boss have a funny mechanism.. It can reduce your damage by 70 to 80% or boost ur dmg to 300%...

 

Ok so atm I have these skills:
Hard Hit lv5, Astute lv10, Trigger slash lv5, Sword Mastery lv10
Safe rest lv5, HP Boost lv10, Fighter's High lv1, Short rest lv5, Sober analysis lv1
Smash lv5 (Martial), Sonic wave lv5, Bash lv5

Is it ok so and do i need to learn those skills which says staff fu In brackets ??? Cuz I made the bash skill mistakenly to lv5 and I don't know if I need that skill because in the build guide it says staff fu. So I did it wrong or not ?
And besides that which personal stat should I choose ?

 

U should follow the bracket in swordfu. Not staff fu. Stats is fine as long as u go str.

Its alright If u go bash level 5. Going sword fu build will still make u left with alot of skill point. So u can other skills to play with.

 

This may have been asked already but what's the best dps combo for 2h?
Also what's the best combo of gear is best for a pure dps build?
Last would be what would be the best tip/advice you'd give to a 2h user^^ (newbie trying to help out a friend with his 2h buidl)

For gears

You have to go

+s anniversary lll sword with 135+ at least. Stats it with 7% cdmg 7% atk 7% str. Be 2 slotted coz first slot is for pg xtal and 2nd using ganglef.

Customized armour with 7% atk/str, Cdmg 7%, cdmg 10

Or CEEE. Any refine on the armour will do. 2 slotted. You can go nure xtal + metal stinger or jade/roga xtal.

Add gear u must have war helmet / forehead protector/ xtal earring / or any 2 slot.

Just war xtal will do. If u have 2nd slot.. Go for yelb xtal.

Special gear u can go muscle talisman ll single slot or philosopher ring 2 slotted or mistletoe 2 slotted.

Core xtal will be either mauze, ooze, nure. But I would go 2 slotted mistletoe and go ooze and nure.

All stat points should make str capped. Pick either Vit or dex to work on with the leftover . If u like glass cannon build, keep building dex.

You objective is to have as much critical rate and atk as possible. Mp have to be 1200 at least. Hp 4k. This is ideal.

There's not best dps combo. I been wanting to write a post on 1h fu and staff fu who did dmg test with me.

Unlike swordfu, I don't have a fixed combo. So when it come to dmg test. I used same combo to achieve data.

I can always go astute tempest smited if we were to test it on normal warmonger.

Rather than sharing my combo which is all over the forum. I would recommend your friend to try build his individual combo himself basing on diff bosses. Even pg is easily solo when u realize the amplified damage motion.


The tip I will give is, 2h vs 1hfu vs staff doesn't have big diff. 1h fu have only 1 damaging combo so they are good with mid and short term battle.

Staff fu can switch a little but mp consumption still a problem to them sometimes.

2h is flexible. If u wanna compete. Just see how long the battle last.. Calculate per combo last how long for you so u won't run out of mp. Making sure u going with a good combo instead of just using 1 single combo and expect it to trash everyone is just impossible. Haha.


If you ask me what's the best build.. Honestly I don't see a diff between me and the rest. It's almost same to any 2h out there.

Why 2 slotted Pilospher ring and mistletoe 2 slotted?

 

Phil ring have 300mp. Muscle talisman ll from npc will never be 2 slotted. So u need to replace it with 2 slot and still have to cover that 300 mp loss.

Why mistletoe? Better than proof of victory. This is for the poor man build.. Lol.. It selling at 400k... With nure and ooze. U can get 5% atk which equal to 70 to 75 atk. That's alot.

Better than muscle talisman that give only 12 atk.

 

Hmmmmm I see, What is your opinion in Ampr 2h builds? Like ampr/dps builds that have a low pool of mp (5-7 barrs of mp)

 

They very key factor when someone go ampr build is that, they are focusing on either solo or long battle like 5min above. When u goes into ampr build, dps and top attacker no longer your main concern. Its a mission to kill a hard boss and it's gonna take time and efforts and the right way.

Without any ampr, fighting nure at hard mode is a torture. You have to constantly auto atk alot Cox nure hp is just too high. And if that auto atk doesn't fill your mp bar.. The balance will be breaking down. You're wasting time. Lol.

So all in all, ampr 2h is more of a soloist or long term battle dps character while providing you with the capability to spam skills because you can recover the mp pretty fast.

With ampr build.. How many bar of mp become pointless. Even if you have 2k mp or 100mp..u would still be doing tons of autos on high bosses. Building that proration to allow ur combo hit harder.

You can have 2k mp and burn it all on combo then continue recover ur mp thru auto. It just the same thing actually. Ampr build is never meant to be competitive. Competitive are about spamming till u run out of mp or the boss dead.

Surely both ur comments on 2h + 1h are null void ?
Yes 2h can go the vit route when str is caped ...however ur critical rate + hit rate will be teribble and if u honestly think crit gear alone will be enough as bosses gain tolerances and flee/evade more as caps raise then im sorry its wrong.
Yes most 1h builds favour str as the fu-series preferes the crit+% dmg boost but a true 1h will always choose dex as a first capable stat then further adding 100 str for the dmg boost leading to either vit or crit stat but most will choose vit since the dex will be more then sufficient for the hit rate.
@Impact is 100% correct with the 1h long run versatlity with sub weapons etc.
So short recap yes 2h are powerhouses atm but when 200 or even 150 aproaches i think ppl will favour 1h"s.
Same principle for most classes tbh at 100 things all seem pre-set but i can assure you keep hold of reset books xD

 

What is the best combo for one h fu cause sometimes my mp drop many if use combo. Sorry for my bad English XD

Hard Mode: 1mp Astute>Trigger5(save)Tkick(smite)Shellbreak(consec) Prefer 1.3 to 1.5 MP for a potential burst Dmg.

Combo 2 if proc Hardhit/Holyfist>HeavySmash(Smite)>Any(consec) >>>>High MP cost sucks =)
