Ask new boss Tyrant

hi guys i wanna ask about the interupt doesn't allowed in new boss, or thing that ppl hate it, such as flinch, tumble , or stun? and what effect to the boss monster if it happen..

im not yet battle this bos, and ask to some friends, but they give me different answer..

Spamming them can trigger 0-1dmg sometimes, but you need those interrupt skills to prevent him from healing, so you gotta time your cooldown as well. ^_^

 

from what i seen tumbling is fine but flinch isn't. Not sure about Stunning or Stopping.

 

Which bosses are sensitive to stop?

 

i have no idea lmfao which is why i said not sure XD

 

Stun - Yep
Stop - Yep
Tumble - Don't unless you use Shell Break as DPS
Flinch - Yep
Lethargy, Ignite, Freeze, Slow, Blind, etc.- Yep

 

Flinch it will counter with spike

 

don't flinch it and everything is ok..

 

Flinch makes it cast spikes that slow and makes him evade
Tumble makes him guard a lot
Dunno about stun.

Btw, anybody knows what triggers his heal? Sometimes he does not heal sometimes he heals 2 straight. I think there's a trigger.

Another thing, i noticed he has 2 types of heal/fractional. One heals a lot with around 40% frac dmg, one heals less but 75% frac dmg
One hit me for 10k dmg with 410k heal, and another for 19k dmg but 80k heal.

 

Flinch is a big no no! Unless if you enjoy tyrant evading your attacks

 

how about using anticipate?

 

Green and red arms indicate his state. I've no issue with any interrupts to be honest.

Just figured out what triggers tyrant to heal. If you use mp charge, or consecutively regeneretes 200mp or more makes him heal

 

Are you sure about this? I did armor break via shellbreak 5x in a row and it didn't tried to heal even once. I know, because I'm always waiting for that moment to interrupt it.

He can try to heal all day. He can only try. Lol. ^_^

 

I think it has exemptions. But im sure with the mp charge skill. Try it XD

 

Nah. I party with 2 hb and 1 bow, nobody needed to mp charge since everybody depended on ampr, and yet he tried to heal a couple of times. ^_^

 

Really? Ooh why is that, is it coincidence? It happened i accidentaly tapped mp charge then i saw it heals, so i tapped it again and again like 3 times then it heals @.@

 

I tried this now and spammed mp charge using my mage just to prove what you claimed, he didn't tried to heal even once. ^_^

 

thank you for explain it guys , so far i read the most trouble interupt is a flinch skill..

so i cant use hard hit in my 2h char , or the party will kick me -_-
