    My pet is Gentle nature.
    So, If my pet join a farm party, will he get skill exp when our party member kill mobs? Or my pet can only get skill exp from me?

    gentle pets will target all mobs you are targeting in one second intervals.

    if you one-shot a mob it cannot be targeted by the pet, so you need at least two hits.
    if a party member fights a mob but you didn't hit it with your own attack the pet will not target it.
