[ASK] what stat u need to make high pot 1H sword?

First, Sorry. I dont know where i should ask, so i make this thread on general discusions.

I want to make 1H sword BS, but didnt know what stat i should use to make high pot 1H sword.
Some ppl say it STR only, and i hear it from Other it STR+DEX.
So i really confuse right now (want to reset stat)
Can someone help me?

Both Str and Dex. For 1HS 20 Dex/Str = 1 pot roughly. You can also look under the 'Production' sub-section of the 'Class Discussion' section in forums.

go pure dex for 1h, raises your difficulty during crafting so you can craft what you want earlier without raising tons of proficiency.

also, use dex archer for dex smith, just up mana charge and arrow rain to 10 for leveling.
