Astute Dance question

This skill reduces the enemy's dodge. Does this mobs that evade a lot will evade less? I almost never miss on non-evade attacks, so I'm sure the purpose of this skill.

On a side note, I have Frenzy Dance capped at 10. Is it just me, or is there really no change in difference in how many taps is needed to break a bosses part?

Also, for Elegant Poise, what's the purpose of ranking the skill past 1 (or 5 for next skill)?

 

lvl 10 elegant poise reduce 50% damage taken and 25% chance to remove ailment from monster attack, then invicibility.
correct me if i'm wrong.
