Barehand ideas?

With the new balance update, youbcan reach 3000+ ATK and decent stab with enough qi and a high level char, in exchange for severe qi cost if you use other skills. I wonder if someone has any idea to build a barehand now?

 

It makes it better for DPS and makes it somewhat worse for tanking, but it's still possible. I would say that without a good skill line-up, there wouldnt be as much you could do with it right now. But I'll think of something:
Obviously all the barehand skills
Get Shukuchi lv10, Backstep, War Cry, and Impact+Lv1 Finale (Shukuchi 10 gives 50 AMPR)
You might as well use the knuckle skill tree if you want skills to use, Impact>Chariot
You could also add in Dark Power skills if you wish to use that HP pool you can get, also Regretless for end of boss battles.
Also get the general skills (Atk up 10 -> Whack 10 -> Crit up 10 -> Intimidating 10 HP up 10 MP up 10)
If you really want: Meikyo, Kairiki, Sober Analysis, Decoy Shot, Sneak Attack, Quick Draw

 

You underestimated the qi cost. I have to reason to say it "severe". A single skill use after certain time if qi charge can cost you 44 qi (from 180~136 as I tested). The more you charge, the worse the cost is

 

qi cost or not, it takes a long time to theorycraft, and without the skills myself I wouldnt exactly know much of anything. They are too expensive ;w;

 

I got several books of dancer 2 months ago through guild maze and decided to sell them. The I used the money to get book of unarmed.... Totally regret

 

I sold my book of unarmed for 10m back when we all first learned about its existence. The skills are not that worth it, and being honest without a good line-up its hard to make them work, so I may theorycraft more if I can get more info on how they all work.

 

Unfortunately there arent a lot of attack skills thst unarmed could use.

I would invest heavily on additional melee and get the melee book with grimuckus.

that would give you some juicy damage.

Berserk for crit and increase auto atk dmg. meikyo for more crit. then just sit on that resistance buff.

accept your role as a support and proration class.

It's worse than just playing as knuck+MD.

The current game system simply doesnt support the Qi feature/it is poorly implemented.

Currently suggest just having the character for when they rework skills in case.

 

But Knuck MD is amazing

 

I was making reference to the no weapon limit skills.

Both martial and mavic have no weapon limit but playing as a knuck+md gives fat more benefits than just playing barehanded

 

yeah, but I feel that barehand has something I may be overlooking...

I had this exact thoughts but it’s really impossible to build. To reach max QI it cost 29,500MP!!! and I think the buff resets when you leave a boss fight room. This tree is almost useful but QI charge dosent give enough Qi per mp and the qi cost for using other skills is WAY too high!!!

 

It could be a skill reserved to be used with something else later. Knux was useless at the start but was good later mixed with other things.

 

Major problems with barehand is as follows:
1) Qi is too hard to obtain/maintain. Developers need to make Qi a hard implement like HP and MP rather than a temporary buff. Qi skills also take too much Qi especially given that it reduces your attack power to do so for the short duration they exist for.

2) Bare hand receives no skill bonuses and even with the skill tree is useless against weapon builds like Knuck+MD which is also a no limit weapon build.

I seriously hope you're right because no existing skill works with it over just using a weapon atm.
