me and my pals started collecting board games, mostly we play after celebrations like birthdays, etc. while downing a few bottles of booze (not everyone drinks tho) can anyone recommend board games that have fairly easy rulesets to play on occasions like this?

my personal favorite is exploding kittens especially with the imploding expansion, coup had its glory but starts to get boring now...

    "Carcassonne"
dunno if it still exists, but it was very popular long time ago. the first and 2nd expansion were great, but then they started to slowly ruin it by adding unnecessary over-complex figures that didn't even made a significant impact on the game.

"The Pillars Of The Earth" (the book)
got it's own board game. very fun and very good to look at. it's like art.

not a board game, but "Wizard" is a great card game. it's very simple and based on a very old card game. the twist is that you have to forsee how many points you will score with your cards and declare a prophecy before you play.
if you called right, you get that many points. if not, you loose points instead.
it's starts easy with just 1 card and increases every round.
and it is also very nice to look at. (much different from what card games usually look like)

I like em all! sadly only carcassonne is available without international shipping (wich would cost more than the actual game), good thing is that i found copy of pillars of the earth from a local board game cafe
