Bow Gun Builds Guide (Lv140 Cap)

This guide is for all beginners and amateurs who are looking to make a Bow Gun Build. Bow Gun has been a fairly popular choice of many since Cap Lv70 where asobimo introduced the skill "Snipe". It is one of the best dps (damage per second) classes in toram.
In this Guide I present 3 builds: The hybrid Gun-Fu, The strong Great Sniper, and the Endurance Sniper.

Note:
- BowGun has a -25% Crit Rate Penalty
- 5 STR = 1 Critical Damage
- 3.4 Crit = 1 Critical Rate
- 20 STR = 1% Stability.

Bow

 

as of now bows are better as long as they are pure snipe focused.. With hybrids like fu, BG is better. bg will make another comeback once the atk diff of bow and bg differentiate more. Biggest problem is the -25% crit on bg. but that is not too much of a problem as the caps increase

This is 2 mp, since Holy Fist is tagged with swift. Switch that to consecutive.

I would agree with Rat on this one^
Gunfu mainly focuses on Snipe to be the dps skill. And since Gunfu doesn't have alot of str investment the crit dmg won't be high. (Still does decent dmg)

 

have u tested this?

 

i've always thought it was 20str = 1% stab for bg from a convo w/precaria. never personally tested it. imma confirm first before i make any changes

Great sniper is ok.
Endurance sniper has a few flaws imo:
Designed to be the tanky version in your trio with probably extra aggro from shield getting sneak makes no sense in my books.
Also force shield for 500hp and a tiny bit def is a waste of sp. Furthermore para lvl 5 should be enough cause u wont really be able to compete with others for atker.
Instead Max long range as on the other builds, get guard strike and advanced guard.
Gun-Fu:
Iirc u need discipline lvl 5 b4 u can access Martial mastery so u better leave survival at all for now cause safe rest wont help you at all atm anyway.
And PG is a better crystal for Fu due to free mp boost with 3% srd + pierce

 

would suggest to add +1stat(for android user) or +2 stats(for iphone user) to STR instead of having 70 CRT stats

3.4 CRT = 1 Crit Rate not 3.5

also for MP boost better to keep it Lvl.9(270 MP) current cap MP total without equip is 230
adding both will give you exact 500 MP

 

para i do agree but i'm aiming for tanky but decent dps. even tho it won't be as great at dps as it could be but i'm aiming for decent dmg in this aswell (destroys the purpose of a tank ) but i'm goin for 2

as for gun fu more mp would be better but imitator is how i'd like to keep this. it's definitely a good option as pg.
