Brawler Guide! : UPDATED

i have not encountered a full dex brawler, i have only heard of AGI+DEX

edit : if you want almost no misses to forestia, it's best to invest in CRT

 

Even Archer with full dex, miss a lot on forestia.
Seems Critical was better stats than accuracy to counter dodge/evasion.

If you really looking for full dex build using knuckle skill,
check Hunter discussion board, and search Bowgun+knuckle build by makOi.
But you will become archer than brawler

 

dex will increase abit of atk with any version arm that you use (light, normal and heavy) and will increase hit and apsd too though not as many as agi. it's worth of try. but it will mean almost no flee.

 

mate, do you think wearing a War Helmet is beneficial? or should we stick to the Forest Wolf Cape/Fluffy Tail? This question is regardless which Xtal we put in their slots(assuming we have 2 slots of each)

 

that really depends on the stats of the helm. i personally use magic scarf for my brawler

Do you think that +10Crit Rate and Weapon +10 is good for brawlers?

 

for my brawler, yes. i do like CRT since it the accuracy is way higher than DEX.
you can never have too much CRT XD

 

Thank you for your opinion cakes. Coz I was thinking of swapping additional equip during boss fights depending on the role I would be taking. I am considering War Helmet, Magic Scarf and Forest Wolf Cape swapping from time to time, and I was wondering whether War Helmet is a good choice. That said, it would be another choice I can have. 3 crit rate number equal 1%crit rate. That what I need to tell you. So do you think it worth of swap or not.

 

earlier i was thinking..but now since we got a BS NPC crafted jamadhar with +3 Dex +40% Crit Rate, I think I'll be staying with FW Cape for now XD this BS Crafted Jamadhar is amazing XD

CRT decreases the amount of misses while also increasing damage dealt. DEX decreases amount of misses. I believe that they are about neutral when speaking on normal attacks against AGI-based enemies. Skills have a higher chance of hitting already, and occur less frequently. A higher damage from CRT is more beneficial for skills due to the higher damage. Also, not every enemy has a high evade, making DEX less useful since the benefits agains the non AGI-based enemies isn't as prevalent. So, yes I believe CRT is a better overall stat for a brawler. If you want to be a blacksmith, go ahead and add your DEX. imo that is the only time DEX will ever out benefit CRT.

DEX benefits : per 10 stats, you will get 5 atk, 10 matk, 10 HIT and 1ASPD and 30 CSPD

verdict : for more accuracy, i would go with CRT than DEX.
Since CRT is a hidden stat, we don't really know the full benefits of CRT but judging from the CRT builds that I have seen against bosses with high evade such as forestia and sroars, it can be speculated that CRT has 0-1 misses and has more accuracy than DEX.

 

Right, crit is never miss. So if we have high crit rate % we will see less normal atk(white number) but often yellow number. That will mean less miss to be seen.

 

Hi! New player here.. I also like brawler class..im a full agi brawler but my problem is accuracy. Most of my attacks misses literally. I know that NORMAL DMG misses.. my question is does crit dmg miss also? If crit dmg doesnt miss.. whats the better stats to pick? Dex or crit? and have u tried getting the dagger skills? I need ur opinions please :3

that is solely up to you, but personally for me, i started adding CRT once i had around 120 AGI, then i did a 1:1 between AGI and CRT.

 

How much stats do have on ur crit now? And whats the ratio of ur missed attacks? Sorry if i have many question x3

 

tbh, i have not actually analysed the amount of misses, but a friend of mine had...40 CRT? he only missed these mobs about a handful of times. at the moment, i have 147 AGI and 34 CRT at level 62. hope that helps!
