i just confirm that BB in 1H only DEX/250 Bonus Affinity while 2H STR/100. im sure that Meteor affinity 1H Dex also lower than 2H

i thought dev is making reasonable game balance but it still retarded to me

You expected them to be the same? Idk chief the larger blade looks like it should cut deeper.
ohs can equip other sub weapons so you can get more def/res, hp, eva, ailments than a 2h. I am personally having fun with ohs sub dagger and my dmg is pretty ok.
BB watk effect is increased with shield refine, idk by how much tho and the heal is marginally better. Still 1k+(Vit*2)hp but add shields def to the hp recovered.(I do think it would've been better to also have shield refine affect heal, 1k+(vit*2)+(shield def*shield refine) would've been nice).

If both 1h and 2H have the same damage multiplier, what is the point they separate sword weapon into 1h and 2H.

1h can equip dagger, MD, arrow, shield or let it empty, 2H?

even if they equal the affininy OHS is not possible to outdamage the THS

    DEX OHS
    -2 ATK
    -NO CDMG

    STR THS
    -3 ATK
    -0.2CDMG

BB heal is very small and not spammable which 1H Buff is very minimal (shield affinity heal give only DEF 1 = 1 HEAL which is pretty joke)

but if you count 2nd stat, 1h get 2atk+cdmg while 2h only get 1atk.

    if you count overall stata

    THS get
    300*3 + 247 = 1147 atk (60cdmg at 300str)

    OHS (regardless ur allocation)
    (300+247)*2 = 1095 atk (49.4cdmg at 247str/60cdmg at 300str but lowering dex affinity)

also THS has higher Base ATK and their stability can reach easily 100%

im not looking for exact scallling of those 2 weapon. but the difference of those weapon is very huge gap (they not even giving motion speed more faster OHS vs THS)

If you only compare the Damage for OHS and THS, of course they have the gaps because this is what exactly the developer want it to be, what you compare now is not apple to Apple, but is Apple to watermelon, both is fruit but sizes and taste is different.

the truth value for 1HS is not the weapon itself, it’s the sub weapon, with the right skill combination and combo, OHS have much more flexible and stable damage , also better mana management compare to 2HS.

for the stability between both weapon, OHS is higher than 2HS, not only weapon But also stability gain from stat.

with STR300 and DEX247 for both weapon
    5th Anniv 2HS ( stab 70%)
    Additional Stab = 247*0.1 = 24.7
    with weapon = 94.7

    5th Anniv 1HS ( Stab 80%)
    Additional Stab = (300+247*3)/40= 26
    With weapon = 106

Lastly, Is it IMPOSSIBLE for OHS to have same Damage amount like 2HS, because no point to have different Types Weapon with same Damage calculation, and is this really happen, then 2HS player will post the same question again and asking why OHs can have same damage like 2Hs and still allow to use sub-weapon.

i never intend in the first place that both weapon is similar dmg but THS can easily reach 100% stab

    247 Dex + Two Handed + 5th Anniv = 99.7 Stab (either add vulture or +3 dex to 100%)

just look the comparison of bow and bowgun.

Bow can easily reach 100% stab while Bowgun have more DEX atk gain and Higher base ATK in exchange of lower stab. (and even their kit have reasonable different passive) i would say this one balance is similar type weapon comparison

while THS vs OHS comparison is very underwhelming (they even buff THS meteor which that skill is already strong)

you cant even use Accuracy as advantage in average nm/ulti cuz of auto graze (since OHS can go DEX STR)

Kinda unrelated but talking about the comparisons, I'd prefer the "bow vs bowgun" to be more similar to "OHS vs THS" rather than how it currently is.

About the stat, OHS has higher stability but lower base ATK than THS, and although OHS can gain more stability from both STR and DEX while THS can only gain from DEX, the ratio is kinda similar (STR/40 + 3*DEX/40 for OHS, and DEX/40 +3*DEX/40 (jk, it's DEX/10) for THS). Assuming stat points are all distributed into both DEX and STR, both of them would gain roughly the same amount of extra stability.
Meanwhile that ratio of bowgun is only half of bow (bow's is STR/20 + DEX/20, while bowgun's is only STR/20). With that, unless bow user distribute points in a either DEX or STR then a different stat instead of using both DEX and STR, else bow will gain twice as much stability as bowgun. And bowgun already has less stability than bow, and not to mention that bowgun only gain half the ATK and stability from arrow.

In term of equipping/equipment, I think bow vs bowgun is almost the opposite from OHS vs THS. THS is the one with higher base ATK and lower stability, and cannot be equipped with a sub weapon, and STR>DEX is like the optimal stat distribution for both high ATK and extra stability; while OHS, having higher stability and lower base ATK, is slightly more flexible for being able to be equipped with a sub weapon. On the other case, bowgun is the one with higher base ATK and lower stability, but it is the one being able to equip a wider range of sub weapon, not bow. And unlike OHS, bowgun gets no extra stability without STR, and even with STR, the amount of extra stability is only half as much as the other 3 (OHS, THS, bow) get.

For the skills, OHS's bonuses are almost all for extra effects while THS's ones are for damage/skill multiplier increasing, granting THS even more skill damage than OHS. But for bow & bowgun, bow's bonuses on some of the skills makes their version has higher multiplier (and maybe even the damage output) than bowgun's, despite the bowgun supposed to be the "heavy hitter" one, which made me feel weird. All those made me feel that, the bowgun, despite being the "heavy hitter" one, ended up with lower damage output, unlike THS vs OHS.

Back to the topic of this post, I think that ratio is kinda reasonable, since in the skill THS doesn't have any other extra skill multiplier, while OHS has more healing with higher VIT, and even more if a shield is equipped (which THS can't do). Though even if the multiplier of both are the same, THS already has much higher ATK, which already made it stronger than OHS, and the extra heal feels like a joke without VIT or a shield equipped (which almost only tanks do so, not the damage dealers). Therefore to me, even if the OHS's bonus is changed to DEX/100, it will still not be that much of a big deal, not really that unfair, if not at all. If people still can't accept it and/or asobimo still want "balance" then just giving the THS bonus an extra 1 or 2 to the skill multiplier will be good enough.

If you want damage similar 2h with meteor then just pick 2h. There's a reason 2h is more strong in the blade skill tree as 2h cannot equip any subs and we have to wield that heavy ass weapon with two hands, can't have best of worlds.
Imagine ohs having similar/slightly lower damage to 2h but being able to use a shield with pdef or sicarius to add more pierce and shadow walk to iframe with 2h power, it would be broken and turn 2h into knuckles dps, another forgotten option.
It's balanced how it is as ohs is all about utility and combining subs like shield, dagger, knuckles and another ohs with other skill trees to have that advantage where as 2h is all about brute damage in blade skills/magic warrior with no sub advantage. If u love ohs try an assassin build or shield cannon Cannon build with pdef or a dw build with storm reaper and ohs won't feel very weak anymore.
