Can we take a moment just to talk about the Rakau Plains shout box?

No, really, go into Rakau Plains for ten seconds and you'll start seeing a bunch of rp furries talking about biting each others ears and "getting wet".
It's ridiculous! XD

The bad apart about this is that it happens to be the newbie zone so we can only wonder what new players to the game think...

We need to petition Toram to put a sign in that zone informing players to ignore the chat going on as it is not representative of the community or the game as a whole.

I don't know if you have been in Rugio lately but it seems this nonsense has started to spill over there...

 

That's a valid point, but I doubt Asobimo can do anything about it. If it were to change, the only way would be for the players themselves to stop.

 

I usualy hang out there and wait, so I can black chat everyone. I also do it when im near Pino at the Government Offices.

I actually read what people say in the shout box, it's only entertainment while farming.

 

While it's indeed could be harmful to underage players (which leave us adults taking the blame for it...), I think it's fine as long as it doesn't spread to Sofya or other market/general zone..
But then again Rakau Plains is newbie zone after all so it will definitely becomes toxic to new players that will easily judge Toram's playerbase attitude based on Rakau Plain's shout.
I know you role-players need a world of your own... So all Rakau Plain's resident should relocate their chat camp to somewhere high levels so you won't bother newbies.

You are so right! Everytime I go there its New people with a new conversation! Yesterday's topic was "Call of Duty and Cliche 10Yr old" I just wanted to farm my dyes in peace... And don't even get me started on the guy/girl who thought he/she was a cat. He/She totally refused to eat those pancakes. Oh and there was something about a sex dungeon. I don't even know anymore

Wtf is with the whole toram online chat... Like Flaneur said, there is a possibility of underage players. I don't get why it's so hard for rg whores to just pm each other to bang each other. It is entertaining for farming or when you're just bored sometimes, but underage players should not be reading things that have adult content and maybe language. I know they have the ability to turn off shout, but it will be kinda boring since not a lot of people ( for me when I'm on ) talk in 'say'. There is also some times when players randomly start arguing at each other. Some people don't care about seeing flames or smutty texts.

 

As a guy who has previously participated in the hilarity on Rakau Plains frequently, I have to say, things have escalated there in a bad way. Somehow, if just 3-5 major pervs arrive there, they just can't help themselves. >_>

Why is there no moderator in game? What is going to happen if some underage teenage turn to the dark side?

 

I just don't read any chat while walking through there, I put my horse blinders on and just run to the nearest exit, lol.

Can't really do anything about it so it's best to just ignore and move on.
