Canceling a Combo - Video Guide

Figured I'd post this here too, as this opens up combo possibilities.​

Tested, I can say this trick only happen after Bless skills, which is recovery buff type skill, other atk skills didn't work
(This trick also happened with Quick Draw)

 

Tested as well. Made a super old thread about it, but glad that you made a video!

 

Further elaborating, I've found that this trick is not limited to just recovery buff skills.

It works with any skill that does the specific animation of praying with their hands together and then thrusting their right hand outward.

Skills with this animation:
Gloria
Sanctuary
Bless
Protection
Aegis

 

I testest with Smash, Bash, sword skills and didnt work
Btw, thoose skill you listed are non-target skills, is that right?

 

Yes, they are non target.
And I'm fairly sure that smash, bash and sword skills don't have the animation I'm talking about.

 

So im sure most of non-target skills can do this trick. Plus Quick Draw too

 

Idk, the only non target skills I haven't checked are sneak attack, war cry and reflex, and that's because I don't have an empty character slot.

 

I've tested more into this. Any non-target skill will allow you to do this technique.

So far, these include:
Gloria
Sanctuary
Bless
Protection
Aegis
Sneak Attack
Reflex
War Cry

 

I just realize this new tech has jus increased my shadow snipers survivability/mobility by leaps and bounds
Moeba> Sneak Atk(Save)> Impact(Consecutive)>Snipe(Smite)>Smash
I can now break my combo after sneak if I'm about to be hit by a stray aoe or am forced to fight a 1on 1

seems like I gonna move my Sneak Atk into the middle of my combo x)

 

Caskadia, could u help me with a knuckle/ shield tank? Or do u already have a tread for it?

 

I was thinking all vit with support skills like aegis, sanctuary, etc. etc. then breaker skills from both shield and knuckle trees. Does that seem viable?

I don't understand. The video said click the skill u want to stop at but ur example u clicked each skill...even the skill after shield bash. It also looked like u just hit each skill once
