but lv5 also includes chat restriction, so i guess that's not it.

it might also be a new security system against bots. how many gifts did you send in what time period?
and did you ever buy spina or traded with suspicious people?
getting involved in RMT or working with botters could also get you a trade restriction.

The chat restriction for lv 5 penalty only last for a month, but the trade restriction is permanent. I got that from past experience with my alt account named "Big C*ck".

Actually the investigation to ban many players in one fell swoop can last for months. First the players will get marked, and once there are enough numbers of players, as in with the term "with the press of one button", all of them got banned at the same time according to their respective violations.

Weird, I've never had any ban issues in the 5 years (rounded), that I've played.

 

I doubt you ain't doing something bad. I play no-lifer's game Summer Shells whenever it's available, yet nothing went wrong.
I do hope "RMT", "Transferring Accounts to Others", "Bots", "and Fraud ain't ringin' any bells". As they have imposed a penalties accordingly on their penalty policy. If you're certain you did nothing wrong, the best way is to contact support. And hope they do anything remotely interesting.
