Class reccomendation?

Hi, just downloaded the game today(did not played just yet) i tried to look some info in this forum which class is best to pick as someone starting out but kinda confuse as some reccomended are equipment that drops from high level mobs i think, is there a class that does not need to get a drop from a high level mob to play the class?

Toram is a bit different than classic mmorpgs, its relatively easy to get gears without having to mind your level. Just play the one you like the best, you can look them up on youtube and see how they perform.

I personally liked to play 2handed sword char as a newbie, it has plenty of attack mp recovery skill and has a nice pace.

Try to look for older videos, which doesnt include level 4 skills.

 

From what i found in 2-hand topic that the stats is full str without putting anywhere else im kinda worried that ill miss without hit rate if thats the stats everyone says

 

I would recommend u use halberd .
Cuz it's the best dps till now and even without lv 4 skills , the lv 3 skills of hakberd is pretty good and does decent damage
Give it a try if u want a good dps

 

Astute(blade skill) will give you +50 crit rate, adding your base 25 crit you will have a total of 75% crit, critical attacks dont miss. Once you get custom armor, you can get 20+crit, critical up passive from the battle skill tree will give you +5 crit so you will have a total of 100% chance of critical attack.

 

Shaved Ice Hat for addgear is cheaper than a fc18 armor xD Having 95 crit rate should be decent, get either Two Handed or Crit Up lv10 then you'll have 100.

 

everything can be played. just pick what you want.
in order to get those high level gears, you have start with low level gears and slowly upgrade over time.
it's just that those guide makers don't give a shit about the progress and just post the end result.
as for those who are like "you must have this and that or the build is unplayable": just forget them. they are noobier than beginners. if you give them a fresh account to play, they couldn't handle the game at all.

I created a new account, mq'ed my way to 100, farmed candela for NPC crafted items, and then joined a party for the lvl 130 version of boss.
I was constantly tying in attacker rank against a CF user with level 4 skills while I had katana lvl 3 Zantei.
With good combo and insight, we can take on those pros

If you just start this game, try use 2h or 1h, this 2 class have simply hit and run and require no complicated combo or control, and both have nice damage output due to STR is their main stat. If you worry about 2H with full STR losing the HIT rate, you can use One handed sword, which grant you 2 ATK with 1 STR/1 DEX.

And you are really lucky because this Thursday toram going to give us 2 Week Free Reset ( On stat, skill and Personal Stat ) and skill in library is free as well. So why not you just try on different way and find the one you like the most.

And please remember to create a character for all available slot, else you can get more free reset.

Hmm ill try to look into 1h with dex then, i was looking into katana and bow because of dex based class, thank you for the info.

 

Most people will tell you not worry about HIT and there is a reason why, try it out change your stat from DEX > STR at reset period is better than we explain here. Try completed your MQ and get to LVL100 above, then join the white valentine event and try get the cake knife(1h) or chocolate sword(2H), this 2 equipment is very nice at beginning.
