Classes where NPC/drop equipment is optimal?

Are there any classes where the recommended/optimal equipment is NPC/drop equipment? The only class I really see it on is Tanks.

 

knuck dps, the best weapon is a mini-boss drop

edit: and some katana anniv weapons

 

So just weapons it sounds like though. Pretty much every class is mostly using player made equipment for most pieces, outside of tank.

 

Supporter builds as well.
For DPS, only the phys/magic hybrid builds so far from what I've seen.

 

my magic assassin is best with npc equipment, and so is probably every other hybrid build.

 

Except for the armor, all my characters use npc/drop equipments. The fine line that separates the player crafted gears started to blur recently.

Utility stats appreciation.

I like to use dropped weapons / npc crafted better as well so far, it has better stat rather than the ones I saw in consignment board made by players (tho I am still newbie so I can only speak for lower levels one)

 

You could make a decent knight with npc equip if you got the sword from last download event too. Or a ninja farmer. Tanks are by far the best pick for npc gear as far as I've seen so far

 

I like to think those good Skills that aren't element dependent, such has Soul Hunter, revenir, could make a pass on the player crafted equipment. So Maybe 1h, but it's still a very element heavy dependent class.

 

STR main weapons like 2H and Halberd since they can reach the cdmg soft cap even by using npc weapons.
