colored weapons

good day bros just asking if how could i ever color my weapon to what i want. cause as I've found out it is really hard to do that than to color other equips such as armors and gears??? I just think it's really cool when you have a great weapon plus great appearance don't you think???

 

weapon dyes rarely drop from bosses on ultimate or nightmare mode, but idk which colors drop from which bosses :/
also, if it does drop, then it's a random weapon with a random dye slot (A, B, C), so you might not even get the one you want even if it's the color you want ._.

Yes, only Ultimate/Nightmare bosses drop dye
Yes, it is super rare
No, color isnt random. Each boss drops a set dye for the month. Like say Roga. Roga this month drops Gold A dye. Just Gold A, not Gold B or Green A, just Gold A. When dyes first came out, it dropped Black A, and it changed randomly every month.
No, the weapon isn't random. Based on what weapons your team has, that's the dye that will drop. If the team has full 1h main hand weapons (this includes dws), you'll only get 1h dye. But say you have 2 1h, a halberd user and a staff user, you'd be able to get Halberd, 1h and Staff dye

 

nah, I've only gotten 2 dyes, one for knuckles and the other for spear (I don't use either)
never bought weapon dyes either - they can be really expensive, especially when you're saving up spina for stuff : (

 

ah I didn't know that the colors were set to A, B, or C beforehand, or that they were based on the team's weapons
I thought I remembered hearing that dyes were rotated monthly, but I guess I forgot :/

 

It's old news. Became so widely known that some people who have been out of the loop must've never picked up

 

the rarity of weapon dyes is probably the same as armors (and dyes).
it's just so "rare" because it's limited to the highest difficulty, while the other drops are also available on the normal difficulty.

it's easier to get them from lower level bosses.
in theory, Boss Colon is the easiest, but you need patience and friends/guildmates because Boss Colon has no drop boni except the full party bonus.
but no one wants to farm colon with a party, that's why you need friends to party with you

 

Coloring weapons is the same procedure as coloring armour dyes etcc.. but usually it is alot more expensive ... reason being its a hard boss drop.
