Combining archer (bow) with assassin or hunter??

Hi sorry to take your time reading this, just a question is it good to combine assassin or hunter with archer? I was thingking of using assassin's backstep (any suggestion for the level? Is it fine just to leave it at level 1?), im not sure yet with the hunter skill (havent test it yet) or should i not pick it??

My highest lv char is: 138 (2h) [i only use it for the main story but having a hard time to level it]

the skill level of Backstep increases the mp recovery and the buff to Assassin Stab.
without a dagger, max recovery is 50mp (half a bar). so if you just want it for the movement, level 1 should be enough.

the majority of Hunter Skills is magical, but with a weapon bonus for Arrow based on DEX. this makes them easier to use Bowgun, specially because they are more close ranged.

The thing about Hunter skills is that they are good combo starts and fillers. The real only reason to focus on them is if you're at a lower level or you're waiting for lv215 skill Satellite Arrow. The skills are better with arrow and make them somewhat better, but I think the damage is better for bowgun even though arrow is more important for bow since traps kinda suck.

Kick is a good combo starter if you wish to be up close for a short time.
Sunrise Arrow is about the same damage as snipe if you sleep an enemy before using it, pretty good for damage but now its absolete so its good for 200MP combo filler
Magic Arrow is the closest thing to Bows version of War Cry but MUCH worse. It's good for when you dont have Decoy Shot, after which Kairiki is better for AMPR, but its not bad as a 300 MP Combo filler, since you also dont need to worry about being burned like Kairiki and its cheaper SP wise.

 

the effect is the same for both, weapon bonus comes from Arrow and scales with DEX.
Arrows are more effective on Bows, but the Bowgun's stat growth makes it much easier to include INT for matk.
with just DEX and INT, Bowguns perform better than Bows.
Bows need STR to catch up, and at the same time Bowguns could get further ahead with AGI or VIT.
