Combo Troubles....

Howdy and thanks for taking the time to read. No idea if I put this in the right spot or not. But I've got a bit of an issue and it's either based in ignorance or just something wonky is going on.

I'm a level 98 2h and primarily used to Iruna over Toram so am learning the systems from the ground up. Well today I noticed the combo system and was like "cool. Let's poke this." So my understanding goes like this: I need to use my full CP in a combo and the combo needs to complete in order to gain exp. If its interrupted or if it's out of mana, no dice. Okay, sounds simple enough. Problem is, however, that I seem to be getting no combo experience at all. I'm using various combos from Hard hit linked to astute and using consecutive on it, to Astute into Hard Hit, into Trigger slash and various others to test, but I'm getting no experience. Now, to be fair i remember randomly wandering the map and coming across s level seventy mini boss and was like "Cool, let's go punch this guy in the face. With a sword." For those of you that dont know, that's called stabbing. So i proceed to stab this guy spamming the combo. The combo is on, before anyone asks lol. I'm just not getting any experience though. So my next thought was "Okay maybe it's a level gap kinda thing. Alright, that Ifrid guy should be roughly my level. Let's grab a merc and ghost him." So I walk up, pop him to easy difficulty because i need him to die by my own assertions, and proceed to hit this guy repeatedly with my combo. But when the fight is over, there is no combo exp.

So what am I missing here? The skills link fine, and I have mana. But the combo level is still 0.00. Am I missing my brain here? Anyone know what's up?

 

it's a bug. and yeah, my combo level didn't increase after spamming same combo like 30 minutes.
and please help report this bug so asobimo will fix this.

 

So I have an entire character that can't level up combos then? This is some grade A Primed screw ups. I'm already level 98 and well into the story. I dont want to have to reset my toon because of a bug. Is there any way to fix it?

 

Nothing. Just report this bug and hope asmollbim fix this issue. I can't even lvl up my new char combo level.

 

That's viciously annoying. Considering Asmobi doesn't EVER do anything with reports? It's why I hate their staff. I've brawled with them over on Iruna countless times over purchases and never once did I get a satisfactory response. Hell, most of the time I never got a response period.

 

Well, Sometimes they reply my report, sometimes don't. Also remember that only few staff active on support during dolphin 19.

 

Maybe but I don't really have high hope on a response, much less a fix. It's why I stopped playing Iruna. Had a good five day run Toram. But I'm not restarting a character in the hope that it isn't an account thing at this point.

 

Don't worry about it. Before the update, the combo exp works properly. Then bugged after updating it.

 

Something I find odd and want to point out: The word "ON" on the combo page is red. I'm told it's supposed to be white.

 

Try now. It should been fixed already.
