Coryn Club might not update

Coryn Club's owner said they were quitting Toram, hence the website won't be updated with more data.

The site will run as long as ads can sustain it, but there will be no new information.

It was nice to be able to use the Sort and filter search feature for searching equipment/finding out elements of mobs.

 

Well five long years of reliable database and calculators of all viriety. Toram have the best i know gathered in one spot. Unlike other games that you need to dig for a golden needle in a haystack of copycats, all goodies compiled, segrigated and organized by the great geek gods of past(hail the chicken!)
But alas, games comes a goes but a sweet memory's glory. New games do come forth but not on par with the charm of this game.(well, not yet. It is ether a p2w or a gacha trap like genshin)

 

Yeah, Cruithne (the founder of said website) mentioned they were quitting months ago. I find this thread to be misleading--the website won't die, exactly. If you're willing to volunteer to update the website's content, it'll be able to run as normal; there's a google form to fill out if interested.

 

Well, it was bound to happen. They came from these forums, and tried to make a user friendly way to navigate the community collected data.

Behind the scenes it was about making money from ad revenue, and drama from people stealing others works.

 

I also thought that they won't be updating it anymore when cruithe quit a month ago, but recently they updated the latest demon empress eq on coryn, which means someone was still updating it.

 

They've made it so that the site can be updated by approved volunteers is what i understood when I saw that post by coryn.club's owner. What this means is that whatever is put on coryn will now be subject to the whims of the masses.
