Dancer skill combos

I've been trying to get the hang of using dancer skills so I tried to make a combo consisting of dancer buffs from start to end to save MP but it doesn't activate. Am I missing something here?

 

Which skill you using and what combo you use?

 

Fairy dance > Astute dance (save) > Spirited dance (swift) > Frenzy dance (swift)
should be 100mp in total

 

The combo it’s correct. You will need only 100mp for whole combo and regen 100mp-200mp if Spirit Dance have 5 stack above.

so you problem is this combo didn’t return any MP to you?

 

no the problem is when I activate the starter, the rest of the combo doesn't continue to activate, it's as if I hadn't turned on the combo at all.

 

Ah no I found out what the problem was. I was testing it in town before but when I tested it again in combat and it works. Seems like combos only work in combat.

 

To be more accurate is combo can be active only if you have a target.

you can try when enter the boss combat, without click or attack target and direct use your combo, you will find out the combo will not work as well.
