Decoy vs MP Charge+Maximizer

    Just wanted to start a discussion lol Haahahah

    imo
    Decoy is very OP for Physical classes. Mages may have Maximizer but Decoy is better in any case.

    Decoy passively regens MP even when you're doing nothing, evading aoes or such. Sure decoy can get stunned for 1 sec but that's it. You can spam attacks while Decoy regens mp.

    MP Charge + Maximizer forces you to stop whatever you're doing to regain MP. The frustrating thing?
    It doesnt even fill up your MP to 2000. Just 1500 no combo on staff. This is bad considering how fast Mages can run out of MP.

    Yep, exactly, mp charge is way too slow.

    Ya, MPC+Maxm is only for you use when you unable to launch any attack. Decoy is good for mage now especially now Magic attack is affect by LRD/SRD because you sure will get Long range passive before decoy.

    but the problem is...staff have short range attack and Decoy is unaffected by Power Wave, this make you have to get close to the boss to cast decoy and jump back to launch Magic, the times needed for this whole process enough for you to cast MPC+Maxm and maybe can cast another 1 MPC.

    Atleast Maximizer is a good combo starter XD
    Decoy is also a nuisance even for bows against "Teleporting" bosses (IDK if it's a result of internet delay or a bug) as well as those have straight line dashes while MP charge+Maximizer can be viable anywhere... even outside of battle (or not in battle mode) and does not disable Natural Regen.

    Toram is also being creative at both of those MP sources; Decoy needs a max of 1k ASPD for fastest default attack cooldown and MP charge needs a max of 1k CSPD for fastest charge time. I somehow derived hints from this creativity XD

    Finale cost 1600 mp which doesn't help much considering that the most op physical dps skills in the game like crossfire and satellite arrow only cost 400 mp, meteor breaker and dragon tooth only cost 500 mp ._.

    You would have expected that a 1600 mp cost skill would trump over the likes of skills that cost quarter of its but hell no.

    Asobimo really loves to balance mage like it has infinite mana for some reason ._.

    Yes maximizer is really really good skill I believe it's the most op skill out of the magic skill tree but if everything cost a fuckton of mana, it just means nothing.

    if you want practically difference of those 2 skill

    1H+MD can use both of it but decoy is 4x broken vs maximizer

    Decoy allow to spam 24/7 4mp combo (5mp combo sometimes u need to auto) and auto gaining mp even you doing nothing vs maximizer force lock your character

    It kind of depends on the situation IMO. If you can actually stay in one spot for a couple of seconds, you could use it mp charge- maximizer in a combo for 1800MP(2000 for MD). Though when you can't due to aoes or certain bosses, I definitely believe decoy is better.

    Yeah, if only Maximizer completely fills up your entire MP bar in one go
    but it falls a little short. Sometimes might even need Combo

    In any case the passive MP regen of Decoy is really good. Fortunately for mobile boss decoy is less useful.'

    In any case the fact that Mages need to stop in order to regain MP slows them down terribly compared to Physicals
