Demon Claw??

So i just realized that Demon Claw can deal that much damage, and yes I know for the damage that it can deal, it puts you in a really risky state(heck yeah only 10% of your max hp left for max dmg)

But i want to know a lot more about this skill, or actually about the whole skills from book of darkness, is there a thread or discussion that talks about this skill tree?
Been trying to find it, but didn't found any

 

The only skill I use from book of darkness is sacrifice. I use it as a tank mage so it does 22k damage everytime. Also combined with lvl 150 magic and support skills so I can just keep spamming sacrifice and heal and maximizer and keep it going

 

That's actually really interesting, im just tired of using meta build, do u ever thought of using Demon Claw? As for an example, you have 60k hp, and if you want to reach the max dmg from Demon Claw, that means you still have 6k hp left, that's still a lot of hp to tank the boss(maybe not)
What are your thoughts about this?

 

Yeah I'm actually gonna experiment with demon claw now that I have those lvl 150 skills to help out so I won't die so quick. I'm gonna see if it does more damage than 22k. Turns out after all my time trying different builds and stuff this is the only play style where I can do decent damage. I'll let you know soon how demon claw compares to sacrifice. I have enough skill points left over to try it out

Demon Claw can be up to par with tier 4 skills at 10% HP. I use it as a secondary DPS for my Bowgun/MD while charging CF and with only 2.2k ATK it is dealing around 500k(with brave aura active). I'm sure if you made a build dedicated to Demon Claw as the main DPS using a weapon that has much higher ATK potential(since the dark skills have no bonuses for any specific weapon, you'll get the most out of them this way) like halberd, two-handed sword, or even staff, you could probably deal some pretty great damage! Dark stinger actually pairs great with it as well since it'll help reduce your HP while dealing considerable damage at the same time.

 

I just tried it out on Minotaur ultimate and I got only 3k damage even with my HP lowered to below 1k. Maybe there's a special way to do it idk. But so far I'm doing more damage with sacrifice

How is it possible to do 500k damage with that? I only got 3k damage when I tested it out on Minotaur ultimate and my HP was lower than 1k

 

The damage is based on ATK/CD/etc. The multiplier increases depending on how low your current HP% is.

Oh I never thought the skill dmg is also based on from atk/cd

So to make the build that centers around demon claw less risky(from dying) and also deal a decent amount of dmg, we somehow need to have a decent amount of hp and at the same time have a high atk

I gotta do some adjustments for it

 

I'm using dark stinger for secondary and long range dps on my 2h build. It deals nice amount of damage but still inferior compared to demon's claw in lower hp. The stack also increase blood bite's heal a little in case I need some heal.

 

I have 1k atk with a proto clarity on my tank, I guess if it could hit like 100k I'd be satisfied. Too bad I used up my reset by the end of the reset week

 

Demon claw? I did a lil test on it, on a freshly born halb character. I think ur max hp doesnt affect a thing, its only ur current hp% dat determine the skill multiplier. To me it seem suits for a glass cannon lovers (gsw + 1hp dps)

 

Yeah i just tried it myself, but using a lvl 49 2h, and lower my hp by using quick aura, i used a not smited demon claw on nm gespents, and the max dmg i can get from it after proc is around 220k

And yes i agree it's actually more suitable for halb users

Edit: after giving it some thoughts, i don't think its possible to use demon claw as the core damage for a build, and can only be used as a sub damage skill

 

Im using halb to check its dmg potential, as per build, I think bg shield works better, pdef for the 1 and only lifesaver skill, death claw as main spam dps, and cf as main nuke dps, well I guess u can imagine. (butt, bg isnt my thing, nor hb, Im devoted to swords lol)

I tested Demon Claw on a 2.5k ATK staff character and this is my highest on Don Yeti. I imagine with a 3.5k+ ATK Halberd/2h character, it’s possible that demon claw’s damage could rival their other DPS options. Plus demon claw generates 0 aggro which is nice. But then there’s that super high risk that comes with it ^^;

 

Hello Aria, i just saw a post about lvling to 150 without the lvl 4 skills, and i saw your said that hb is one of the best option

I want to make a hb char, but I really don't know how to build them, my current char is lvl 134, and i dont know what skills to get or use, so im hoping that you can at least give me a lil guidance XD
