Do elemental arrows stack with bow?

I've gotten differing answers to this one. Some say it does, some say it doesn't. So I'm a little confused.
For example if I use a water bg and ice arrows, does elemental damage stack and if so by how much? Thank you for your help in advance

 

No, it does not stack. It would only stack IF your bowgun gave water damage up and your arrow gave water damage up. If they are both water, it will have no effect. Example :

Bowgun : Water damage +2%

Arrow : Water damage +2%

Now that would stack. ( keep in mind that the examples are fake, and in toram you can't stack element damage at the moment )

So say if I used a water gun with high quality arrows I would get element from the gun instead of neutral attributes from arrows?
Also is elemental damage bigger on a bow/gun than it is on arrows ?

Nope, water damage is always water damage. No matter what its On, its water damage. And yeah you would get the element instead of the neutral and no problem ask me anything you'd like
