Do you have any tips for managing a guild?

I created my guild quite a long time ago, and never put time and effort into running it properly.
Now I decided that the fact that I'm really busy is not an excuse to keep ignoring my guild, and I would be extremely grateful for any advice and tips.

 

Make a discord server for your guild (or use some other platform) to properly manage your guild? It would make it easier to manage guild events, maze parties or parties in general. Answering and asking questions etc.

 

Get some active vice leaders, always keep in touch and, be responsible? I was a guild leader on some other games and the responsibility part is the toughest. And oh, make some kind of goal to keep everyone motivated.

 

Get some people (preferably friends) to stay on guild for while while recruiting more.
Nobody want to join a lvl 1 guild with 5 member.

After you reached cap for that lvl, encourage people to enter maze to raise cap
While you at it, try to be active at helping member.

Remember though: this is easier said than done

 

Thank you, it's a very good advice. I think that maybe adding the guild to this site might be a good idea, but I'm still not sure.

 

Yes, being responsible will be a challenge, but I'm not going to give it up. Thanks for the goal idea ^^
Also, I can theoretically find someone who can be a good vice leader, but... what do vice leaders actually do?? Like, just being in charge when the gm is not online or something?

 

Hmm, thank you, I was wandering what actually makes the guild lvl up. Do you know if there is any other way aside from guild maze?

 

Chatting with member, Partying with them, and contribution pts i think.
I don't know the exact amount for guild to lvl u, but guild maze is your best bet to lvl

In our guild, the the lead and vices, pool spina for prizes for events, plan the events together, encourage everyone to do guild maze, helps with mq/build/farming exp and spina, doing funky stuff to keep guildies motivated

We also help some with homework and school project if they want to, but it happens rarely.

 

Your guild sounds like such a great thing to be a part of!

I've helped with 4 or so over the years.

And you too can make a great guild.

Make sure you take on feedback from your peeps as well as not taking any feedback on personally. Don't extend yourself too far. Delegate tasks and roles dependant on their skills, interests and activity. Some can't play alot but can be on forum, some can do both etc..
