does upgrade weapon change appearance ?

Hi, when i strolling around the city i realized that some equipment look different, does refinement/upgrade change the appearance or is it something else changed it ?

Here is the example, the magic crystal armor appearance is slightly different on the skirt...

Can someone tell me how to do that ?

You can change the color of your equipment with color dye and you can also remodel your armor to be light or heavy which will also change the look of it some.

 

Depends on what kind of upgrade. If your talking about the normal upgrade (making the gears +1,+2,+3 etc,) then no, it won't change appearance but it gives more stat boost. Another upgrade is the Remodeling armor.
It's basically changing your armor's appearance and how it's effected for your survivalbilty
Heavy: More MDef & PDef (less dodge rate & atk speed, I believe) Looks: some additional parts will be added.
Light: more dodge rate & atk speed (less defenses) Looks:Some of the parts of the armor will be removed.
