DPS Class Performance Labels

lets all have a DPS show. go to the hardest boss and do a 1vs1vs1vs1.. it is more fun then just picking on weak boss

1Hit. do more then 1 hit = fail.

 

Why would i want to only use my char when there are merc and pets that i can use while im soloing? Using pets and merc is still a solo to me. Its still only me a real player against the boss and pets and merc are add ons. Its like ur saying no to free stuff that could help u on ur solo journey. Then say no to powerups like muscle oil, giga pot and stuff then? No?

Honestly, I used to think using pets to fight was a joke, since the whole system strongly reminds me of pokemon ._.

I can see the value of them if you fight bosses a lot but can't find decent parties. Or any parties

But in a party, I think the user needs to be able to deal decent damage too, otherwise they're just a leech right? Since the pet would be the one dealing damage if, for example, the character is full luck

Basically my opinion is that either the pet needs to deal enough damage to justify (effectively) taking up 2 party spaces (if the user is like full luck) or the user needs to pull their own weight if the pet can't deal damage to fully cover for the user

Another thing is I would think pets wouldn't be welcomed on gem runs but idk. Depends on who has the gem

I'm still going to call people who use pets things like "pokemon trainer" though

Im not using it for everything. The build is a hybrid dagger mage and pet. I can switch to full dps dagger mage combo whenever i want without pets. Pets are not meant for gem runs or to replace humans/char(idk what to call it). Its good to be there when we are alone ^^

 

Pet is just another fun that you can have on toram. No need to compare.

 

Can only be OP if they can only see what they are hitting. meaning (CRT build is a must)

Ripp i feel like brawlers dps capability should go a little more down one star IMO.
But the proration should definitely be a few stars higher. DWs use a lot of physical skills and end up ruining proration for most physical oriented parties. Brawlers (in a sense) use more auto attacks than skills alone, making the proration (and MP management) much more efficient.
But ehh.. brawlers dps is really unstable (despite the high stability lmao) and depends more on the boss. Like i mean, i could out dps snipers on yelb, halberds on bexiz, and mages on Iconos. But i suck at stuff like imitacia, aranea, memecoleus (etc.) And since brawlers are so versatile, its kinda hard to base their efficiency off stars lmao.

I have the worst mp management for a crit halberd -2(star)
I have seen halberds with sb + qd + sober they got mp high enough to kill even bosses on ulti and still not run out.

Regarding range and dps and cost most newbies will prefer Sniper/Archer
Also Nothing Can Beat The One Hit Burst Damage Of Snipe But Since Snipe needs 4mp instead of 3mp like halberds its a thing where mp management is low
But for newbies cost is what matters coz they are not rich in the beginning so to begin with a sniper it increases their survivability giving them dps as well as a very great range of 15 to 16mts for skills and 8 to 10 mts for normal attacks (to carry out their mqs easily)
But since snipers are weak against proration eaters and most of the new builds being based on hybrids we are seeing less snipers these days

 

There's actually a growth in numbers of snipera after bow snipe boost ^^ , but yes it is true halberds are undisputed strongest burst class now and they have a tier of their own.

Moving on, Alright let's keep the discussion civil.
I'm open when it comes to considering everyone's opinion.
I'll update the ratings a bit :

• +1 ☆ for 2h's mp management , in consideration of bk's and isra's opinion. But proration would still remain the same because autos arent considered there except for dw and 5k aspd brawlers.
• +1☆ for brawlers proration management considering blackrex's and zephyr's opinion. They are agi based after all so it is natural they can reach up to +20% motion speed which would make their autos fairly quick

 

Is halbred one of best dps or no?

So I wanted to make halbred build but then heard people talking abt not getting attacker rank with halbred even with their so called "pro build"

Can halbred really get attacker rank if competing with bow or 2h in parties?

Anyone? please answer
