DPS CSPD Mage Build Guide by makOi (Lvl100 Cap)

ATM im leveling a new mage built with CSPD. I just want to check how fast i can drop my walls. Since 1600 cpsd seems obtainable.
@Blaec Luminae Oh and btw regarding your eva mage i tested it out its nice coz when eva procs while your casting your char is still continuing to cast the spell.

 

I asked about this, because I have been able to solo everything with my own build. I have a list of everything and they are all marked done. I wanted to use this build, but didn't want to sacrifice that ability to solo.

 

I'm glad it's worked out for you ^^ it seems evasion works best for mages anyway, as it helps out more, and most armors for mages seem to add dodge, especially with the new armor, magic device, crysta, and additional gear, seem to add evasion or cspd. It also makes for a good pvp build, as all the other main "classes" are physical based, and if silver roar has anything to say about it, physical does not work well against evasion. It seems like that's a kind of "weakness wheel" so-to-say. Evasion counters physical, as it means not taking damage and not getting flinched, as well as most hits missing, including skills. Guard counters magic, as it greatly reduces the damage done by magic skills that can't miss or be evaded, but can be guarded. On top of that, Warriors and brawlers tend to have low accuracy.

Don't forget to take into consideration that remodelled Light Armours affect CSPD with respect to AGI.
Now that leads us to see whether adding stat points to AGI or DEX is more optimal when using Light Armour.

What is your MATK with your CSPD Mage? I'm curious.

 

Same with my other builds. 920 Matk.

 

I am very curious about this build… very curious indeed. It sounds very effective, my only issue is the mp. How much Mp do you have with this build? How often do you recharge? I had an idea for a build with equips that would give 2k+Mp that I was going to try, but if this is more effective, I'll give this a try instead.

 

I was going to make a lancer which would take up 92 skill points, but I'm still debating what would be more effective... Especially since my goal is to have a build that can solo things with ease.

 

With the new Xtal (+100MP). I have 800+MP which is enough for me to cast my combos. Usually after boss fight i need to recharge once or twice.

I have both lance and blast max with my new build CSPD mage. I just remake a character and removed the HP Boost and get the new lance. (Yea... I really dont need HP coz there are potion that inc your HP vita plus pot.) Atm its lvl60.
The modified lance skill have fast casting 1.3secs. i think its the same with magic arrow. The damage is still the same with blast it just have slower animation or takes 1.5-2secs per hit. (Tried buffing it with swift remains the same)
And i notice that the first hit can cause stop effect. Im not seeing the flinch anymore it seems like they replace it.

 

still lacking 1 item to have 600cspd unbuff.. Im giving eerie 1week rest coz im hunting ooze armor boss version.

 

Well, I'd still like that extra 1khp from HP boost... Maybe I'll skip out on some other skill

 

May I ask what xtal are u using beside 100mp. An ur gear set.

 

I only used 3pcs mp xtal and seltirio xtal thats all. I dont use those 1-2% matk. I sell them

 

What does holy fist actually do? is it nesscesery now to have?

 

For Combo purpose imo Yes! Coz like what ive said in the guide it has faster animation than bless.

 

For my ~1.8-2k+ idea, all Gespenst xtals, max MP boost, crystal earrings, Aqua garb, and magic talisman ll. Gespenst xtals are +150mp so (150 • 4 = 600). Add the 300 from MP boost for +900, add to that the xtal earrings for +1.2k, add talisman for +1.5k, Aqua for +1.6k, and add to that the normal mp pool, and you should be able to get at least 1.8k total. If you use Irogeon, you can easily reach ~2k+, and over time as you add INT, your mp pool will increase gradually, allowing you to reach even higher numbers. With this much mp, you'd rarely need to recharge during a fight. After all 1.8-2.1k mp is 18-21 bars. That's ~6-7 blasts/lances, and ~9-10 javelins. If a smite blast/lance can do around 10k average (from what I have done at ~40ish to Forestia), then that would add up to ~60-70k damage. That will end most bosses soloing, and if in a party you won't even need to use that much.

(All math here was done off the top of my head, at 4am… so I apologize if those numbers are off a bit)

Hi about Magic Lance, I noticed that w/ a non-elemental staff, it does a Stop debuff on each hit on the target. (Very useful in buying me time to create separation from target to cast bless vs Miracle Potum w/ all other members of the party dead. XD) Just providing this bit of info.
