    sigh guess most ppl don't read other posts I made 2 d.w tank and semi tank builds 3 weeks ago in preparation for d.w launch is this what you were aiming for look below ... Screenshot_2015-11-12-15-54-16.jpeg Screenshot_2015-11-12-15-55-07.jpeg

    the above second PIC shows you can have good DPS DMG as well as tank and evade and the top picture will be full vit till 80 cap releases then focus on dex+agi to stabalise hit rate and dmg

    @firefox1981 Thanks for sharing, I believe we forgot about that since there was a flood of threads and posts on DW since its release.

    There is 1 weakness that I observed for both tanks - low MDef of ~110. Since DW utilises Agi and evasion, the best choice of armor type (capitalising on growth rate bonus with Light Armor Mastery) will be the remodeled light armor, which further reduces MDef.

    Are there any strategies to mitigate or neutralise this weakness? Eg. Use Gloria (Def & MDef x3 @ lv10)?

    sadly with tanks at such a low cap theres any weaknesses ur 100% correct m.def is lacking and also status ailments ..there is a small Biff that helps a little with the second that can remove some status ailments but up to 2 maximum at a cast only.. also thirdly a d.w hit rate is lacking due to zero dex so yes vs low evade mobs the MP regen for a non charge tank is amazing but seriously lacking vs airborne mobs..so some major flaws ATM but....my second build (higher agi over dex and a little hp- I'd pump vit to 100 Max eventually-) is my personal gave auto build I've recently posted it in action vs gold skelly you can see its atck+survival for yourself ^^ YouTube channel- James need toram

    lv survival skill atk mp u can spam one skill after the other no charge needed.
    astute for dmg+crit up then spin slash followed by hard hit. =mp. 2-3 normal attacks and u got the used mp back and can jus spam it out again. boss wont even know wut hit'em

    Was my main focus for my DW. As far as stat build. Moderate vitality high atack, agility, and dexterity.
    My skill tree build is different though.
    Blade skills
    Sword mastery=10
    Quick slash=10
    Sword techniques=10
    Hard hit=5
    Astute=10/crits at 3k to 5k usually
    Notice the passive's apply to single hand sword and two hand swords, though do not clarify restriction to not being applied if dual wielding two single hand swords. So skill is applied to skill in using single handed swords. I watched my time between attack intervals decrease and attack go up each time after skill point was added.
    Dual weild skills
    Dual sword mastery=10
    Duel sword control=10
    Godspeed=10
    Dual strike=5
    Sword spin/aoe=5
    Been working out pretty good for me. Great mob farming and the break and astute helps for farming boss's.

    lol basically same build as mine xD good survival too ps I am avoiding the spin slash aoe atck for now but kept it on my tank versions its good for the blind and knockback and also pulling in multiple mobs aggro awsome skill for tank tbh.

    i think sword technique passive doesn't work for dual sword skills. i tested it in forestia and volg, 10 runs with and without it. there seems to be no difference in damage for dual sword skills

    Question> Does Sword mastery and Sword techniques from Blade tree skills affects damage of a dual wielder?

    I have not tested this myself but i'm assuming no but if it does, then it's prolly just gonna affect mainhand sword.

    ERM jay sorry for this but sword mastery does effect duel wield it adds a further 10-15 atck ATM depending on the lvl (fully tested BTW) and on b.mastery same effect increases atck further.

    What did I just say? Yeah it works for dual sword users but the "effect" of blade mastery and sword technique only works on mainhand sword.

    just a quick d.w tank mock up.. hope you all like BTW the only 2 xtals I used were arcoiris and minotour. first time I've actuely wanted to use an xtal lol oh also ill be doing dex and int when caps 100 but for now agi up to 50 max for that little more aspd.i refuse to use brutal as my main as i dnt want to become to reliant on it(needs hp+% based swords now lol) Screenshot_2015-11-18-19-02-10.jpeg Screenshot_2015-11-18-19-01-48.jpeg

    I'm thinking of experimenting Dex/Agi/Int build when the level cap goes higher. Maybe setting Dex to 160 minimum, Agi 50-75 and some to INT.

    Reasons:
    1. DW needs same Dex or slightly lower Dex than 1H for accuracy and main hand weapon damage
    2. I'm using DW's passive defence Dodge/Evasion as primary defence strategy
    3. Putting some stats into INT increases MDef and helps to mitigate its low magical defence weakness.
      MDef will be boosted with Gloria against mobs/bosses dealing heavy magical attacks.
    4. Increasing Int also provides another offensive strategy of using magic attacks. Using both magic and physical attacks helps to maximise both types of attack damage. Magic attacks also provides a contingency offense strategy against high evasion mobs/bosses.
    This is just theory crafting at the moment. Any comments are welcome. :)

    True I also tried getting the aggro from my pt with my dw but for some reason even i try to hit bosses with Hard hit, it will ignore me and go on and chase our High DPS PT members
