DW Help

    I need help with my character. Trying to build a phantom slash character. New to game. Any help would be great. First what equipment and equipment stats should I be looking for? Should I have elements on my weapons? What skills should I go for? The biggest trouble I have is setting combos up. How to best use combos for low mp use. And any other tips would be great.

    If you want to build any character I would reccomend you do two things
    1) Read everything here https://toramonline.com/index.php?forums/dual-wield.187/ and ask all the questions you have there
    2) Watch a whole bunch of videos here https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dw+build+toram

    Phantom Slash is a lower leveled skill because new skills that are out are Shining Cross and Storm reaper for Dps so no one uses PS anymore. But Shining Cross and storm reaper are locked behind a 170 requirement so you need to use PS to get to 170. You can check out some PS builds here

    For a phantom build go for STR and AGIL
    These two stats benefit the most for the class.

    simplified you can look at the dual tome for more details or research around there are multiple stat breakdowns on youtube


    Dex - Increases main hand atk, hit, stability for main hand
    Str - increases both main and sub-hand atk, stability for both main and sub hand, critical dmg,
    Agil - Increases sub hand atk, aspd, and dodge.

    As the above mentioned, Phantom is a bit outdated now with Shining Cross being the new DPS skill. Phantom still good though just not the best dmg skill,
    For your equipment, you'll want to focus on
    aspd,
    critical rate,
    atk,
    stability, higher stability= keeping your dmg consistent along with increasing your lower end dmg
    ampr (attack mp recovery) basically the more ampr you have the more MP you're able to get back. 100 AMPR= 1MP bar back.

    As for elements, yes it best to have them at least for your subhand, you get a 25% dmg increase for the opposing element

    For skills,
    it depends on your playstyle and how you want to go about.
    Impact, and Finale, are very versatile
    Cross Pary
    Shadow Step

    Combos, you could use
    Impact > Phantom Smite > Shadow Step cons 4MP
    Spin > shadow step save > Trigger Slash cons 1MP
    Twin Slash > Spin slash cons/swift/smite > Shadow Step 3MP
