enchant sword vs buster blade?

just in case my weapon stat is:
one handed sword,
fire element,
20% damage to earth.
then testing it with "don yeti" or another earth element monster. which skill will deal more damage after that?

 

this is just my rough estimation, but i think enchant sword will still win.
enchant is an unsheathe skill means u can gain advantage by getting unsheathe% stats too, unlike buster that relies on your total atk and dex only.
even on 2h, if we just talk about raw dmg, enchant still win thanks to its unsheathe category, but do take note for 2h its animation is slow even with gsw.

and with ur equips, u can remove the fire element if ur planning to use enchant since this skill changes element oppose to enemy, so u should take advantage of it and just put DTE% only in ur weap and change element to atk%.

 

Use this combo
Trigger slash > enchant (smite) > impact (con)
It will cost 4mp in the long run and much faster execution.

Edit : you must control your proration like katana user. Do 2 auto atk between each combos. U don't need high ampr for this build. 60-70 ampr is enough because you also need to mix lot of auto atk.

 

Enchant will do more damage if your gears are unsheathed and maybe more damage if they not on yeti, I'm not too sure about this, but if you are making a build that isn't based around unsheathe gears, maybe an assassin, meteor or shield cannon build then just go for buster blade since buster blade can also take advantage of the element on your weapon. Also enchant is super slow, so if it's on a build that isn't optimized for it I don't think it's worth getting, slow animation with low damage personally I wouldn't go for.
Busters a nice additional skill to have, it heals and also if a boss is hard to get to because its always using aoe or spikes then Buster becomes very useful because it can be used at range.

 

DEX MAIN - Buster Win
STR MAIN + High Unsheathe stats = Enchant Win

Enchant Multiplier is 9x
-Godspeed 15% Unsheathe
-Flash Blast 10% Unsheathe

Buster Multiplier is 7.5+DEX/100 (Current is 10.5)
-Sword Technique 20% Blade skill
-probably the DEX multiplier is same to STR THS Multiplier

Constant is both 300

Buster+Sword TEC = Enchant+40% Unsheathe

i would say Buster is more stronger now due to dex growth while enchant need more high unsheathe stats to make it better.

but you need both if ur 1h+md since you will take buff of enchant

 

IMO buster wins due to burst potential, i just spam buster with no combo, and it can dish out tons of dmg from max prorate to min prorate in just 6 seconds.
it can even out dps meteor if spammed in the last few seconds once the hp of the boss is low
