evading while doing combos

I just wanted to confirm if others experienced this.

so I just made an evasion build with light armor, maxed 2 evasion passives and lvl 10 reflex. from what I know you cannot evade while on a combo but I noticed something.

I was just farming cp with the combo spin>reflex>flashblast>ss all cons on mochelo and I noticed that while on combo, I don't see the evasion popup but I sometimes don't receive any damage.

does it mean that evasion still works while on combo? does it mean that you will evade on combo but animation will not show? it may be just a miss on boss attack but when it does, I will see a "miss" pop up. there are times when "miss" does not come up and im thinking it may be evasion as I don't really have any agi.

another thing is im mochy's red aoe (the one that inflicts bleed) while on the combo and don't get hit hence im thinking its evasion.
