Evasion System numbers

Hey guys, I did some testing with the new evasion system and summarized them in a table. In the first table you can see the differences between having a dagger or not and the different armor types. In the second table you can see the effect of the new support skill "Fast Raction Lv. 10".
Conclusion for me so far:
- This greatly benefits dagger wielding classes (the main benefactor most likely will be Halberd, but could also make other dagger builds viable again: 1h, Bg, Staff)
- You can avoid auto attack damage, but not AoE damage
- The charge time seems to get longer the more frequently evasion is used. I was able to get 10s per charge after I spammed evasion (starting at 1.7s per charge)
- At least for the manual Evasion system the 75% evasion cap was removed (!)
- You can evade midcombo and midcharge with miracle evasion (due to a bug you can evade midcombo without miracle rn, thx to @PutuKarma )



Equipment combinations in terms of max evasion charge and charge time at 0% evasion recharge ranked by count and time:

The repetitive use of Evasion enhances the recharge time. Her for an example starting at 1.6s:
Uses - Time (s)
0 - 1.6
1 - 1.8
2 - 2.1
3 - 2.5
4 - 3.1
5 - 3.9
6 - 5.1
7 - 7.2
8 - 10 (can't get longer than that)

The cooldown only shortens again very very slowly. Once the cooldown reached 10s you can use Reflex (Thx to @Hivan) or GSW to reduce the recharge time to 4sec for the buff duration. This only works if you didn't have the Reflex or GSW buff before.

 

Ok, I tested a little further for the increased charge time after repetitive use. Here for the example of a start time of 1.6s:
Uses - Time (s)
0 - 1.6
1 - 1.8
2 - 2.1
3 - 2.5
4 - 3.1
5 - 3.9
6 - 5.1
7 - 7.2
8 - 10 (can't get longer than that)
The duration doesn't shorten again, only after you change location (like leaving the boss room). That probably means for a light armor + dagger build that you effectively have around 15-20 uses per battle.

EDIT: Probably not intended but there is a way to reduce the cooldown mid combat: If you are at 10sec cd you need to let GSW or Reflex (thx to Hivan for this) run out and then reapply it. The cd will be back to 4 secs

 

Sorry, but what does reflex and gsw do now that evasion rate is not a thing anymore?

 

Every equipment and skill which formerly had Evasion % now turned into Evasion Recharge %. Evasion Recharge % applies to the charge time needed to restore evasion stacks

 

Ah I see. Although I still wonder what "evasion rate%" Means in your worksheet?

Lol right. Btw, does the evasion recharge% amount you get from reflex and gsw still the same as previously? I think they both give 30% evasion rate(?) So do they now give 30% eva recharge or is it a different amount?

The mirage evasion is needed to be able evade in mid combo (same as in evading in middle of casting)

I just test it and flash blast gives 2 stacks/charges on evasion. : )

 

Is there a specific requirement to evade mid combo? I've been trying to evade midcombo using dance buffs (e.g. fairy>spirited>frenzy) but they don't work at all. However Evasion(Assassin) >Serum>MP charge works.

 

learn lv3 guar skill tree, mirage evasion (if i recall the name), you'll be able to evade mid-cast once in 10s

 

One thing needs to be cleared out, manual evasion doesn't give invincibility frame, its not super op, just adds extra quick multidirectional movement though the charge time is pretty broken. If you sidestep into aoe you'd still be wrecked especially gsw users.

Edit: Nvm, if u use 2h+light armor u can both evade and block

 

Then does this inply that "Evasion Recharge" alao gives the same effect of "Evasion Rate%", just depends on your settints for evasion?

 

Doesn‘t seem so. The auto system works different than the old one. With my former 75% evasion build the auto system didn‘t evade a single auto attack

 

the (1,1) you mean here is 1 charger per 1 second?
