Farewell and Thank you

After careful considerations, I have decided to stop playing MMOs.

Before I picked up MMOs again 2 years ago, I'd spend a lot of time with my family. We'd go for walks after dinner. We'd go find things to do over weekends. We'd be so bored that we'd look up parks on maps, and go on little adventures. Toram has made me a lazy parent. I'd now scramble to put dinner together, and get it over with as quickly as possible so I can go play Toram. My son's closest pal is Netflix. For the sake of my family, this has to stop.

I have no regrets. My dream since I was 17, was to be good at a MMO, make friends and go on amazing adventures together. Toram was like a dream come true for me, and I lived this dream for a couple of years. In 20 years that I played MMO, Toram and this forum are the most amazing things ever. I'm happy that I became active on forum. Helped other players, or so I think I did ^^

To all my Toram friends, it was a pleasure to meet you. To all my forum friends, some of which whom I never met in game, it was a privillage to have exchanged ideas with you. Toram is a great game and I loved every moment of it.

I'm not leaving for another game, so if you see a Saphos somewhere, that will certainly not be me. I hope to use the time I normally spent on Toram in a more meaningful way, so my son will have great memories for his childhood, not staring at the TV every night. Or at least, when he watches TV, he will be watching it WITH me ^^

Years later, when my son is old enough for MMOs, I might bring him to Toram with me if the game is still around then ^^

Btw you've grown a lot since they first time I've met you, as your GM I'm proud of your accomplishments and your achievements such as your builds and whenever you didn't back down from getting beat down. Remember when you said that everyone else was stronger and you're dragging the guild down? Well look at you now, you're a well respected 2h with an amazing build. I can't describe in words of how happy I was when I got back from my break and you just constantly whooped me at roga. In my heart it hurts to lose a family member that I cherish and love, but at the same time I want my family to enjoy and have an enjoyable life outside our virtual screens. I will in no doubt miss you, but at the same time I with no doubt am proud of you.
